Serves meat, vegan options available. Mexican fast food chain founded 1993 in the US and now operates outlets across North America and several more overseas. Set up is assembly line style where you could customize your order of tacos, burrito, or burrito bowl, and request no cheese or sour cream. Offers a savory sofritas filling that's made from soy protein, and some locations offer Impossible meat. Rice, beans, guacamole are vegan. In early-2019 added a pre-configured vegan bowl which includes the sofritas in addition to other fillings like guacamole. One block from Union Station. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.

Standard Burritos - Edit
Not the best burrito ever, but not awful.
Read moreI've heard amazing things about Chipotle, so I was excited to try their burritos, I was however, a little disappointed. I had the sofritas burrito with brown rice, guac and other veg fillings. The sofritas were rather tasteless, and there was nothing special or stand out about the food. If I were to return, I'd skip the sofritas. That being said, it wasn't awful, the burrito was a good size, and was very filling.
Pros: Large Burrito, Decent Price
Cons: Not Enough Flavor , Bland Sofritas

Favourite place to go for veggie burrito - Edit
Chipotle is a very tasty burrito place that knows it's way around an avocado. AKA their guacamole rocks! The burritos are one size, which is pretty large. So go hungry. I get the bean burrito with fried veggies and almost all the toppings, including extra cilantro and am always satisfied. You can taste the individual fresh ingredients. They also offer a sofrita burrito with tofu instead of beans but I wasn't a big fan of it and found the texture to be unsatisfying and made my burrito too watery. Overall very yummmmm

Very yummy veg-friendly "fast food" - Edit
First, I'd like to emphasize the fact that this Chipotle location gets REALLY business at lunchtime. It's also relatively small with not too much seating, at least compared to other locations I've been to. It's in a very convenient place, though; it's right near Union Station, and the free Porter airport shuttle stops right in front of the restaurant. So, it's a great place to grab food before or after a flight/train trip.
Read moreAlthough Chipotle is not a veg restaurant, their vegan options are really delicious, filling, and quite healthy (for 'fast food'). The sofritas (spicy tofu) protein option is really tasty. Their guacamole is amazing too.
Vegan choices for your meal: White/brown rice, black or pinto beans (ask for both!), sautéed green peppers and onions, 4 types of salsa, romaine lettuce, and guacamole.
And a secret tip that they don't mention on the menu: If you order a veggie burrito/salad/tacos/rice bowl (ie. no sofritos), the guacamole is free!
Pros: tasty, filling food, inexpensive, amazing guacamole
Cons: not a veg restaurant, gets REALLY busy at lunchtime
