Tasty & Many Vegan Choices, But a Little Too Salty - Edit
I went there for lunch with my husband. It was a pleasant surprise to find a Chinese restaurant with good vegan options in this part of town. We have not found a lot of options in the Oro Valley area.
After finding out about the restaurant in Happy Cow, we wanted to check it out. We told the waitress that we wanted vegan options with no egg. They pretty much just said okay and offered no suggestions. So, we looked at the Stir-Fried Vegetables section. We asked in the dishes we wanted would be vegan and have no egg and were told that that fit our needs. We ordered the Broccoli in Hot Garlic Sauce and the Stir Fried Eggplant with Tofu dishes. The waitress told me that even if a dish in that section is not normally one that is vegan, if we tell them we need it to be vegan without eggs, they can modify it to fit that.
The service was prompt and the food had a nice flavor and texture. I would prefer that the dishes were less salty, but it was still a good find. Unlike what we have experienced at some other Chinese restaurants, we were happy to discover that the dishes both came with plenty of sauce.
