Great food, great veg options

I love this place and the noodles, curries and appetizers are always great. I’m very grateful this place is near Forney cause the options here for good Thai food are slim to none. Highly recommend this place for a chill dine in experience. So many vegan and gluten free options.

Well packaged, quick order, too much cross-contamination, heavy use of oil

I ordered 2 appetizers and 4 meals for pickup. Placed order at 5:25pm and was ready at 5:41pm. Order was properly packaged and so that it would not leak. They use strong plastic containers with a snap on lid which you could reuse at home if you hand wash.

I'm a pretty picky vegan so I examined each item closely because mistakes can happen. I will not eat something if it contains animal products. I am aware that cross-contamination can happen and there is nothing you can do about it.

Some items in my order did contain animal products even though they were listed as vegan on the menu and requested to be made vegan. Those items were A21 Chicken curry Puff/vegetable curry Puff (contained diced chicken) and P13 Prik Pow Fried Rice (contained eggs). I threw these items out.

A1 Fried Spring Rolls
Came with a sweet dipping sauce.
Pretty much what you would expect. Nothing special.

P6 Cashew Nut
Vegetables, Mild Spicy, Brown Rice, Extra vegetables, make it vegan

Spiciness was good for a beginner. Compared to other meals this one had a red color to it, maybe from the Thai chilis. Very heavy on the use of oil.

P8 Vegetable Paradise
Vegetables, Brown Rice, Extra vegetables, make it vegan

P12 Baby Corn
Vegetables, Brown Rice, Extra vegetables, make it vegan

The P8 and P12 meals looked like exactly the same meals. They had the same vegetables. I ate the P6 meal with the brown rice hot right after pickup. I left the other two meals in the fridge overnight and then rinsed them in hot water twice for 15 minutes using a sieve which removed some of the oil. It was better with less oil. Then I mixed them together with the brown rice and ate them. P8 and P12 had some cross-contamination with tiny pieces of white meat left in the sieve after rinsing.

Pros: Well packaged, Order was ready quick

Cons: Cross-contamination, animal products in food., Heavy use of oil.
