Very good! - Edit
Cheesewalla has vegan options that are tasty and somewhat of a guilty pleasure. I had the tater tots and a special they were offering that was listed as a “California Burger(?)” which consisted of Beyond or Impossible protein and vegan cheese with sauce on grilled bread.

Beyond meat grilled cheese - Edit
Ordered: California Burger (with beyond meat and vegan cheeses), cheesy tots with vegan cheese and a Dr. Pepper
Read moreWhen I looked at the menu it was hard to see what was vegan, but the staff were all very friendly and helpful in explaining what could be made vegan. The tater tots were tater tots with some vegan cheese slices melted on top, they were a nice side but I’m not sure I would spend the money to order them again. Both items ordered cost an extra $2.50 to have the cheese be made vegan. The California Burger can be made vegan, if you like beyond meat then this is a great option. It was melty and tasty how you want a grilled cheese to be and nice toasted crunchy grilled outer bread. The restaurant is located on a walking street in between Orange Street and N. 5th Street, with colorful umbrellas overhead, the seating is outdoor picnic tables, it was a relaxing atmosphere.
Pros: Friendly staff, Nice outdoor seating
Cons: Vegan cheese costs extra $2.50 for each item

Lots of vegan options in a tiny space - Edit
Having not have a vegan grilled cheese in some time, I was pleasantly surprised to find a grilled cheese restaurant in Redlands with several vegan sandwich options. Upon entering, me and hubby were warmly greeted and our order was taken. I ordered a vegan Margherita sandwich which comes with marinara sauce, a vegan traditional grilled cheese, and California tater tots which are tater tots topped with vegan cheese, thousand island dressing and grilled onions. On a second visit, I enjoyed the samosa grilled cheese with three sauces (my favorite was the sweet sauce) and the caprese grilled cheese. The food was delicious, well made and filling and we will definitely visit again soon.

Amazing vegan options! - Edit
We got the vegan samosa sandwich and the vegan caprese- both so so yummy! The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the vegan options. It was my bestie’s birthday, and they threw in tater tots free for her- so sweet! So excited about this place.

Yummy sandwich - Edit
Grilled cheese for adults. Satisfies that craving. I had the vegan caprese and sweet potato tots (yum). The filled bread really makes the insides pop. You can get vegan cheese on any one, but you may want to specify vegan for the whole sandwich. Front staff wasn’t quite sure but kitchen knew what was up. Cool spot with a nice atmosphere.

Good food, but not many options - Edit
The woman working the cash register wasn’t the brightest bulb. She had no idea that vegan cheese was carried there. Until she asked the chef. Then tells me every sandwich will be vegan by using vegan cheese. There are only a couple items that can be vegan such as the classic or the samosa with no Greek yogurt. The samosa was very good

Pros: Great food
Cons: Expensive , Small choice of selections
