fresh and yummy

CheckInn has two vegan, healthy-ish options on it's menu, with some vegetarian dishes appearing to be vegan (avocado-coconut soup, grilled asparagus with sweet potato puree and couscous...), but are only vegetarian due to butter in the puree etc.
They clearly state on their website, that they are willing to make changes in dishes for special dietary needs and so asked them to veganize the grilled aspargus-dish and also to switch the couscous from it to black quinoa (comes with another bowl).
Veganizing was no problem, I got some falafel-balls instead of the vegetarian sweet potato puree, but they didn't wanna give me the quinoa😄
Didn't really understand why, maybe for economy-reasons.
Nevertheless, it tasted very good, the asparagus was crisp, just on point for my taste, falafel balls crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and also the couscous which isn't my fave, was marinated very well, so I really enjoyed it.
My husband had a surprisingly big portion of 'Käsespätzle', a regional vegetarian dish, similar to mac and cheese, with strong cheese. Compared to my plate (18€) the portion was huge for 14 € and my husband didn't manage to finish it.
But obviously (and unfortunately) ingredients of this dish are cheaper than the veggie-ones I had.
All in all a nice-ambience restaurant, surely cool to come with omnivores and also suitable for special occasions.

Pros: good to come with omnivores , good for special occasions , kitchen is flexible, vegan options pretty healthy

Cons: Vegan options are not clearly labeled, reservations necessary, even on weekdays
