A ton of vegan food options - Edit
I’m not a 100% sure but I believe ALL of the food is vegan and just a few drinks may have dairy. Either way I really enjoyed this place. Super friendly staff. Nice outdoor seating. And the prices were fair.

Whole vegan menu, many options like vegan duck, chicken, shrimps. Of course also classics like soups and tofu. We were absolutely positively surprised!

It may be that the 11am opening time is no longer correct. When we were there it said 12:45 on the door with paper.

Ich hatte den Lassi, die Sate spieße und die Ente mit Erdnuss Sauce. War alles lecker aber ich finde echt teuer. Für alles drei habe ich 30€ bezahlt. Der lassi hat 7,5 gekostet. Auch die Inneneinrichtung fand ich nicht so umwerfend, kann man aber mal machen. 🙈

Essen war voll ok, aber hat mich leider auch nicht vom Hocker gehauen. Relativ durchschnittlich asiatisches Essen (habe aber die Fleischersatzprodukte nicht gegessen). Bedienung war nicht unhöflich und Ambiente ist ok.

Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Gerichte mit veganer Ente, aber auch die gebratenen Udonnudeln mit Seitan und Tofu, die Sommerrollen und das Gericht mit Kurkumasoße (21) waren sehr lecker. Außerdem fanden wir den hausgemachten Eistee sehr erfrischend.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Germany - Edit
I've tried a decent number of Vietnamese restaurants in Germany so far - and this is maybe my favorite so far! My family was in Würzburg for two days and we liked this place so much after we tried it on the first day that we came back the next day! Amazing, diverse, creative vegan options - all delicious, including the desserts! If only they went fully vegan and didn't include dairy ice cream on their menu😡

The Chay Viet offers many unusual vegan Asian dishes. My vegan duck in peanut sauce was delicious and the portion was quite big. The place is nicely furnished and the staff is very nice and courteous. I definitely recommend the restaurant.

Enjoyed our stay at this cute place. We had the “Duck“ and the “Chicken“ both with delicious peanut sauce🥜 We payed about 18,00€ for 1x Homemade Ice tea and 1x meal each. Everything was amazing and we will for sure come again 💕

Read moreBeside the desserts all food is vegan and it’s excellent. I really love the red curry with tofu and vegetables (no 20) or the rice noodle soup with curry coconut milk (no 29) or the vegan chicken with vegetables and peanut butter sauce (no 59) - just to name a few dishes.
I have been there quite often and everything I tasted was delicious.
The owner is very lovely and the prices are really fair.
Make sure to visit when coming to Würzburg.

Had too high expectations on the vegan duck - Edit
Everyone told me how good the vegan duck at this restaurant was. So maybe that's why I was a little disappointed. I felt that the duck itself had no taste of its own. So I needed loads of sauce for that. But everything else was very tasty. The starters and also the sauce and vegetables to the vegan duck.
