Nice lively place but not a single vegan cake to be had. Looks like vegan options in New Zealand are going backwards!!! Sad.

Only two vegan options - Edit
Went there this morning and only vegan options were a $25 Indian Tofu dish or $18 porridge. Other than that you'll need get them to make you a vegan sandwich which is hassle and always expensive

I loved the avo toast and my friend had the blackberry bagel. Staff very happy to explain how everything is made and provide substitutes to make various items vegan.

We had the tofu scramble and the pumpkin hummus avocado smash toast - both vegan and delicious! Really friendly service and a great vibe. In the centre of down-town New Plymouth too!

Serves a bit of everything, veg, vegan, dairy free, gluten free or combo available. Had the scrambled tofu and was massive plate for like 13 bux, fresh and delicious!! “Kooky” 90’s decor is kinda lol! Will deff go back if I’m back in New Plymouth😄

Chaos is always a popular cafe but tables turn over pretty frequently so if it's full, you don't need to wait too long .

I opted for the vegan version of avo on toast with a side of Mexican beans. Very tasty & good portions. They do great coffee here too. Recommended.
