Too full to move. - Edit
Staff were lovely and friendly, knowledgeable on a vegan diet it seemed. The portion sizes were great, and the food was reasonably priced. The place was clean and the vegetables tasted fresh in the dishes and the taste of the dishes was incredible. Would definitely recommend.

Great spot in Brecon - Edit
Visited Brecon for 5 days and I have eaten here twice. Both times I've had a lovely experience. Though the second time I tried to be a regular human and not state I was vegan. I casually asked for sweet and sour tofu but chicken came out. No worries though, this was quickly sorted.
Read moreThe decor is very warm and the music is great! Very relaxing. If you come to eat here you will be at peace ✌️
Thank you Chang Thai.

Pros: Great food, Great music , Great staff and atmosphere
Cons: None other than it isn't fully vegan but..., That wouldn't be realistic of me to mark down for

Disappointing - Edit
We had a takeaway from here on Friday night after reading these earlier reviews. The staff who were serving on Friday unfortunately did not understand our needs and, despite double checking with them about no eggs, when we opened the pad thai, it contained egg. We also got the impression that it had all just been reheated in the microwave, as it was thermonuclear hot! It was also the most expensive takeaway I have ever had - £40 for pad thai, tofu musaman curry (mostly sauce with little solid content), one portion of plain rice, one portion of corn cakes, and two non-alcoholic beers. Wished we'd gone to Cat Soup Kitchen instead!! (Which is permanently closing in a few weeks). Very disappointing 😞

Nice healthyish food, know about vegans - Edit
Sometimes in omnivorous places you get the feeling they're bluffing about what's vegan but our waitperson seemed clued up and checked regarding the one thing she wasn't sure about. We had a salad and samosas, then a stir-fry and a curry, and all were fresh tasting, non oily and good. Worth booking as it got busy.

Cons: Menu could be slightly clearer about vegan options

Tasty Thai - Edit
We had the vegan starters, tofu pad Thai and sweet and sour tofu.
Read moreWas good food, knowledgeable staff and helpful in identifying what could be made vegan.
Most dishes could be made vegan with either just vegetables or tofu as your protein option.
Would visit again if in the area and fancied Thai food
Pros: Good options , Helpful staff
Cons: Tofu is only protein option

Yummy, warm food - Edit
I really enjoyed my meal here. We didn't know we could eat in so had planned to take away. The person who greeted us was really friendly and helped us select vegan options. Wait time was 15 minutes and it was still warm after a 20 minute drive back to our accommodation. Food was really tasty. We were really happy with the massaman and panang curries. Good value for money. Only down side was biting into a star anise or something similar. We also should have ordered another rice because between two of us 3 saucy dishes felt like it needed more carbs.

Amazing meal after climbing Pen Y Fan! - Edit
After eating in pubs this was a blessing, I love Asian food this was fresh crisp flavours, mushroom sauce used in replacement of oyster sauce. Lots to chose from friendly staff. Tofu satay was perfect. Will make the 2 hr journey to come back and eat here again after a climb!

Very poor show - Edit
The owner assured me that 30% of his customers were vegan so I asked if he could do a vegan pad thai. Of course he said. I checked it was all vegan with him when I collected it, he was quite rude, interrupting me and again said he had lots of vegan customers. I got it home and there was egg in it 😔 be very wary if you are vegan.
