Ok food close to DMK Airport - Edit
We arrived at Don Mueang Station by train in the evening, and walked from there. All other places with vegan options near by had already closed, and we wanted to keep walking to our hotel, so the location was quite convenient for us.
Read moreFood was ok, staff was friendly, English-skills were a bit shaky though. We therefore used the google translator to make sure that the vegan dishes we ordered would actually be vegan, and that worked well.

Chaba Cafe Don Mueang - Edit
My first meal in Bangkok after returning as a vegan happened at this restaurant. I sought it out because my arrival coincided with breakfast time. So, right after landing at Don Mueang Airport, I quickly searched for a vegetarian restaurant on Maps and stumbled upon Chaba Restaurant.
Read moreAfter walking about 800 meters from the airport, I was warmly welcomed by the chef, who is also the owner. The interior was neat and clean, and conveniently, I needed to use the restroom, which was also clean and well-maintained.
The menu offered a diverse range of options, including several vegan choices. Being in Thailand, I opted for the authentic vegan Pad Thai, made with a variety of fresh ingredients. It was incredibly delicious, packed with flavor, and loaded with fresh vegetables as a substitute for animal products. Outstanding!
In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking vegan/vegetarian food around Don Mueang. Best wishes for success and health to the entire Chaba Cafe team!

PS: For those concerned about the separation of cooking/eating utensils from animal products, a little reminder that this restaurant is, in fact, a non-vegetarian establishment with vegan/vegetarian options. So, all utensils are mixed with animal products.
Pros: Delicious, Cozy, Clean
