So awesome!!! - Edit
How lucky that I was staying at this Hyatt for work and one of the hotel restaurants is a vegan buffet?! Everything was so delicious and all vegan.. not sure why it’s listed as vegetarian but it’s been a while now since I was there so hopefully someone can double check. I wish it was me tho bc that food was so good!

Fancy hotel buffet all vegan - Edit
We went for lunch and confirmed with staff that everything was vegan. I was confused by the dish labelled "vegetarian cheese fondue" but they confirmed yes it was vegan and indeed it tasted vegan too! The whole buffet was based on vegetables, no mock meats or vegan cheeses. A lot of the selection was salad ingredients. The other options were several roasted vegetables and fruits, a tofu Wellington, several other hot dishes including a pasta dish with cashew lentil filling and a rajmah (Indian kidney bean curry). There was no rice or Indian bread to eat with the curry though!
Read moreThe desserts were lovely and elegant. There was lots of fresh fruit alongside.
Overall everything was yummy and we enjoyed the food. The kids were not very impressed and didn't eat much but they can be picky (our baby and 4 year old ate for free and our 8 year old was charged half the adult price). It would have been good to see some rice, more varieties of breads or other plain food for kids, but I understand kids are not their main target market.
Pros: All vegan, Emphasis on vegetables, Lovely desserts

Elegant comfort food at 茶苑台北君悅酒店 - Edit
The vegan buffet is located at an afternoon tea lounge while lunch and dinner are offered. The relaxing and calm atmosphere made our lunch enjoyable. The western cousin surprised us all with elegance and pleased our senses enormously. I enjoyed the baked sweet potato, country spinach oat meal, classic Indian curry, Willington tofu pie, baked bamboo shoots, sweet potato lasagna, salad, baked pineapple, strawberry mousse, and a lot more. Been there twice and certainly will visit again in the near future.
