Not impressed

Came here for a Christmas do with my colleagues from work. When given the menu options (weeks ago) it was not clear what I could have so I just requested a vegan option. 2 out of my 3 courses did not require any cooking skill other than chopping as I got a pretty basic salad as a starter and sliced fruit for pudding. Main was slightly better but not great -a slice of nut roast with some spread/sauce over it, 5 baby potatoes and 1 baby carrot.
I understand it is not easy to cater for specific requirements but I would have appreciated a bit of interest and effort into making something worthy of the price paid (£39, like everyone else).

Cons: Expensive, Food not worth the price, Poor knowledge/interest on vegan cuisine

Separate vegan menu

Ask when you arrive and they'll provide you with a vegan menu with a small selection of starters, main courses and desserts. Vegetarian options available on the main menu.

Pros: Freshly prepared food , A number of options available, Relaxed environment

Cons: Fairly small portions, Not cheap
