Very good italian food - Edit
Castello is a tipical italian restaurant which offers pizza, pasta and many other classics. Special about it is the fact that they have a dedicated vegan menu. If not included in the „normal“ menu, just ask the staff. They know what veganism is and the food tastes awesome. Also the place is nice - eben more in the summer when you can sit on their patio with a cute water fountain in the middle.

They have many vegan options, if you aren't sure, ask the staff.

Make sure to book a table in advance, even if you have many seats.
During lunchtime they have a lunch menu where you can order pizzas for only 5 euros. Just tell them that you want the pizza without cheese.

Nice italian restaurant with good atmosphere. Ask for the vegan menu. I hade a really good vegan pizza.

Surprisingly many vegan options! - Edit
This is not your typical Italian restaurant. It has a very extensive menu with some unusual options and their vegan range is surprisingly big, see photos. The service has always been very good and whenever I can't go to a veg restaurant in Ingolstadt, Castello is a very good alternative. Calling ahead is advisable even though they have a lot of tables, inside and outside.
