Fabulous Vegan Food - Edit

Cashew Catering delivered impeccable vegan food, and fantastic drinks reception service, at our wedding at Lambeth Town Hall in April 2023. This was a complicated menu, incorporating canapés and fizz for drinks reception, two soups, two mains, petits fours and teas/coffees, as well as an evening food menu (including homemade tea bread and patties), with 140 day guests and a total of 160 evening guests. We wish we could go back and eat all our wedding food again!

We are both really into our food, and knew this would be a central part of our day - and that we needed someone who really understands good vegan food. We initially approached John with a menu that offered dishes to celebrate our combined heritages, “veganified”, and John rose to the challenge with aplomb. He worked with us on the menus, with John providing excellent suggestions and accommodating all of our requests, and took on our feedback throughout so that every dish was perfect. John also provided continuous support and advice in the months ahead of the wedding - joining us for site visits, catering to guest dietary preferences, talking through scheduling and logistics, and keeping us all calm & excited for the big day! The service on the day was flawless - John and the team ensured everyone was fed and had drinks filled, and the feedback from guests has been overwhelmingly positive (many of whom were in panic about a fully vegan menu). We were so glad to have John and team there on the day. My wife and I would heartily recommend Cashew Catering to anyone who wants to impress their guests at their event with food that looks and tastes amazing, and we genuinely enjoyed chatting to John about all things Lewes, ice hockey and delicious vegan creations!
