Absolutely love Cascadia! - Edit
So many vegan options that are all creative. They treat vegan items with the same expectations as the rest of the menu, not just an after thought. Definitely the best place for vegans and omnivores to share a meal, in my opinion.

Separate vegan/vegetarian menu! - Edit
I was excited about the full separate vegan/vegetarian menu, it clearly labeled the vegan options and there was lots to choose from. I got the vegan shrimp po’boy and it was great! Large portion and tasty fries.

Super Tasty Appetizers! - Edit
We had not eaten out in a while but decided to give it a try. The vegan options were reasonable (maybe not quite abundant, but numerous enough to have numerous options). The fried pickles and the vegan chili fries were exceptionally flavorful and filling. Their homemade vegan buttermilk ranch was great! The street tacos were a bit bland and almost cold when they were brought to the table. The server didn’t charge for the drinks for some reason.

Full Vegan Menu - Edit
My husband and I have been meaning to try this place for years, so glad we finally did! Everything was so delicious and I definitely plan to come back and try more things! I got the Cajun sandwich and it was fantastic (but be warned it is HUGE and a bit tricky to eat lol) and my husband got the viet-Thai baguette and he loved it! And our waiter was vegan which was a plus!

Honestly one of the best impossible burgers I’ve had, just a classic raw onion and tomato burger that always hits the spot. Their tofu squares are V good too!

One of my favorite places in the area! - Edit
They have a huge separate vegan menu with unique items, not just your standard Veggie burgers. Every item I've tried so far has been amazing, you could've told me they're from an all vegan restaurant and I would've believed you. On top of that, it has a great laid back, PNW aesthetic and great alcohol options!

Greatly Improved - Edit
I have eaten at Cascadia Grill twice now. The first time was not a great experience. I had gone with my young daughter in the summer of 2021. The place was empty but we waited forever to be seated, then waited forever to have our order taken, then waited roughly 40 minutes for our food. When I was finally able to flag down our absent waiter, I learned he had forgotten to put in our order. While they tried to “rush” our ticket after that, the quality of the food suffered. I don’t recall everything that we ordered, just the “tofu squared” appetizer (chk’n fried tofu cubes). The batter was cooked on the outside, totally raw on the inside, the tofu still cold. We were there over two hours when all was said and done.
Read moreFast forward almost a year later and WOW. Could not have had a more different experience. I was promptly seated, was able to put my order in quickly, and the food came out shortly thereafter. The waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about the veg menu. I made a passing comment about being in a time crunch when I was placing my order, and as she was bringing me my food, she offered to bring me my check so I could leave whenever I was finished. So thoughtful!
I ordered the Cajun tofu sandwich and unlike another reviewer’s experience, it was a flavor bomb. Perfectly breaded and deep fried tofu cutlet that was somehow juicy and flavorful, not watery. Soft, fluffy bun. Cool, crisp veggies. And a convincing remoulade. It tasted exactly like a po’ boy. The breading on the tofu was almost too salty for my tastes, but paired with all the other ingredients, was perfect. (Just to further underscore how seasoned the food was, contrary to what some have reported.)
All in all, I am glad I gave this place another shot and will definitely be coming back the next time I find myself in Olympia.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, including apps & dessert!, Friendly service, Good food
Cons: Metered street parking only

Huge Portions and Friendly Team! - Edit
Really good and interesting vegan/vegetarian menu available with all the vegan selections labelled. The food is really good, lots of flavour and the portions are huge. You can share the appetisers. I had the fried tofu and the tacos, I was impressed! The team are lovely, really friendly and informative. Super happy to help and there is none of the ‘awkward’ feeling you can sometimes get asking for the vegan options as everything is so clearly labelled and provided on another menu. The menu also has cute comments that made me laugh.

overpriced and bland - Edit
I have been here multiple times and have never been impressed. I got a mediocre sandwhich that had soggy tofu and a bun that was falling apart. And then most recently I had the worst pasta I've ever had, it was their GF creole pasta. It was about $20 for the pasta and I would have expected so much more for that price. The noodles were falling apart obviously over cooked and the sauce was bland, I couldn't taste the creole flavor at all I just got a slight hint of paprika. The veggies in the pasta were also over cooked. Overall it was a mushy bland overpriced meal. The only good thing here is the gnocci appetizer with no cheese.

Good place for mixed group - Edit
I ordered the cajun tofu sandwich which came with french fries. The sandwich was okay, but the french fries had so much salt/seasoning I couldn't eat them. There were several other vegan options and I would like to give more things a try. The people with me who ordered the non-vegan options said they were happy with their meals.

Friendly Staff, Great Food, Several Options - Edit
My girlfriend and I decided to try somewhere different that still had clearly labeled vegan options and Cascadia Grill fit the bill. They have a separate vegan/vegetarian menu that specifies what can and can't be made vegan. The waitress was friendly and helpful, the service was quick, and the prices were reasonable. I tried the Creole Penne, my girlfriend got the Cajun Tofu Sandwich, and we tried the chili cheese fries as well as the carrot cake. All of it was delicious and we'll definitely be back. Bonus is that it's close to the water so you can get food to-go to eat with a view.

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now and they have only gotten better, I’ve never been disappointed. The impossible burger is of course, amazing! I tried the vegan schnitzel burger this weekend and was blown away. We’ve had there fries, vegan chili fries, and artichokes as well that have all been satisfying.

I have the Tofurk Yourself sandwich, very good food and a lot of options. Pretty much everything was just a fake meat with a meal which isn’t bad but it’s not the most creative menu. Would go here again.

Great first experience - Edit
Had my first try of the Impossible Burger here. Was so happy that it also came with vegan cheese and mayo. They have a handful of vegan options that have their own section on the menu. Super helpful. They also offer kombucha on tap which I love. My only complaints was that I sat at the bar and was ignored for most of my time there. Which surprised me because the host at the door was extremely happy and friendly. He made sure you felt welcome there. I’ll def be going back to try the other vegan items on the menu. Hopefully I have a better experience with the other staff members next time.

Nice addition to happy cow. - Edit
Rachel had the Impossible burger with fries which she thought was amazing and I would agree. I had the cheesesteak with fries, which I really enjoyed. Both were served on bagels, the fries are a classic style thin cut which I was very impressed with. We both ended up full so we missed out on desert. The portion size was good. The price was on the just slightly higher than average for vegan/portion size. I was really impressed with the staff very friendly. Vegan/veg get a nice separate menu with plenty of options.

This place was very fun. Great atmosphere with a historic, pub-like atmosphere celebrating famous Cascadians. The Impossible Burger is vegan junk food heaven so dig in and enjoy one. Great selection of beer and wine and a separate vegan menu. A really cool stop if you want a taste of the local history.

My husband and I ate at this establishment and really enjoyed it. We had to ask for the vegan/vegetarian menu. The pasta is excellent (I brought half home), as is the burger, which my husband had with a salad. Service was friendly and fast. Not a huge wait for our food. Highly recommend.
