Barcelona key store

Every visitor to Barcelona should go through Casa Perris. It is a trip back in time to ancient herbalists, with hundreds of spices and legumes and a smell that catches you. The attention of the employees is great, they resolve doubts and always help the client to find what they are looking for. 100% recommended!

Pros: variety, quality, attention

Cons: too much variety for indecisive people!

Excellent store!

I just love this store! 95% of everything here ia vegan withsome dairy products.

The staff are friendly and each customer is individually served by a staff as done the traditional way. There is no self serve here.

This is a traditional store sells dry loose groceries: different legumes, beans, flavoured rice, quinoa, other grains, flours, cocoa, chocolate buttons, dry fruit, nuts, some snacks from different parts of Spain, Europe and the world. Organic items have a Green Sticker.

Biodegrable bags are used to carry loose dry groceries. Love this Zero waste aspect of it.

I bought myself some beetroot, orange oil flavoured basmati rice, some smoked turmuric root basmati rice, brown basmati rice and some Catalonian and Spanish beans.

Recommend this lovely store.
Does have dairy milk chocolate.

Pros: Majority Vegan, Traditional shopping , Zero waste

Cons: Has some dairy

Amazing place to buy in bulk

I love this shop! Great staff, good prices, really good produce. You can bring your own containers and save on some plastic bags.

Unusually charming shop

This place is a very charming little gem. Plenty of bulk foods, including things I had never seen before, such as some spicy, purple coloured rice that I found fascinating. As I don't live in the city I didn't really feel the need to buy so much bulk staff, but if I were a local then I would be a regular for sure! On the minus side, the place was rather crowded, and so customers needed to pick tickets to be served in the right order.

Great place to buy local and in bulk

They have a variety of products that you can buy in bulk, you can bring your own bags and tuppers, and also local, I often buy from them gluten flour, oats, chickpeas, beans, you can also find molasses that are from Malaga.

The staff is nice, they help you with the products.

Pros: Variety of products, Fair price, Buying in bulk

Cons: Small place, Most of the products are in the open, Non-vegan products

Little bit of everything

I love Casa Perris. I go there for my organic oats, nuts, fruits, rice, tea and loads more. I love going there as the services is great. It can get busy sometimes so first thing in the morning after I take the dog for a walk is a good time to miss the queue. The team are very patient and explain where items come from, let you taste a bit here and there and also don't laugh when I bring my own bags or their plastic bags back for refill. Nice to find a place with good prices that allows you reduce your plastic use. Great team there.

Pros: Great selection, Clearly marked organic produce, Refill option to reduce plastic and waste

Cons: Can be very busy
