Spoiled food, dirty dinnerware, communication barriers - Edit
They have a vegetarian menu with several options, but it’s not worth the frustration, expense, or health risk! Manager was reluctant to come to our table, and did very little to ease our concerns. It’s a shame because I love their other location.

Pros: Vegetarian menu, Modest pricing

Authentic Mexican -- Easy to Eat Vegan - Edit
This is a locally owned restaurant who has an owner smart enough to know that vegetarian/vegan options is the wave of the future. There is a sizable vegetarian section on the menu which can be made vegan by Holding dairy (cheese and sour cream) from your meal choice.
Read moreThe chips brought the table are dark yellow corn tortilla which have a wonderful flavor, accompanied by two types of salsa, mild and hot.
I had the veg chimichanga for $ 13.95 and my wife ordered the Veg Taco dinner for $9.95. Both meals include a generous serving of rice and black beans. The tacos included guacamole inside the tacos and the chimichanga had guacamole served on the side.
This very Vegan Friendly Mexican restaurant is located right next to a moderately priced movie theater, Movies of Lake Worth, so in one shopping center you can take in a movie and have a delicious vegan meal.
The only negative to our experience was that our server forgot about us and we had to chase her down to place our order -- Though we were the ONLY customers in the entire restaurant. However, once we got her on the job, she was friendly and attentive, so except for the rough start, we were VERY pleased with the food and the service.
Even if the service had remained poor, we would probably return because the food is something exceptional. The only small suggestion I might make would be that the restaurant should offer vegan cheese so ALL the veg menu items can be enjoyed by vegans. They lost One Star for lacking this option for vegans.
If you're a vegan longing for Mexican food, this little restaurant in an out of the way city, may be your solution.
Pros: Many vegetarian options which can be served vegan
Cons: No vegan cheese, No vegan sour cream

Fajita’s - Edit
We got vegetable fajitas with black beans and rice. It was very good. We are from TN so we were extra pleased with the long list of vegetarian optionals on the menu.

Love the vegetarian menu - Edit
You would not think this place is vegan friendly... It looks like it's straight out of Mexico. BUT... Separate vegetarian menu! You can get any of the items without cheese. And the flavors are great. And so inexpensive! Try them out!

Good Authentic Mexican - Edit
Great to have vegetarian options. One vegan item and if you ask for no cheese most all the other vegetarian items would be vegan. Overall nice decor and service with reasonable prices.

Amazing yummy egetarian options - Edit
I couldn't believe when I opened the menu and found entire page of vegetarian options. I spoke directly to the chef/owner and he informed me that he personally cooks the black beans and the white rice separate from the other food and that they are 100% vegetarian friendly. What was even better was when I receive my food it was absolutely delicious! I had Fresh peppers, tomatoes onions in my burrito. The black beans and rice was some of the best I've ever had (I'm Cuban-Italian!) and the service was top notch. The salsa is homemade and DELISH! I am hard pressed to find Mexican restaurants in my area that truly cater to vegetarians who don't want pork in there beans or they are rice cooked in chicken broth. Some people just don't understand the concept of this. These people do! I felt so great after talking to the chef/owner and hearing straight from him exactly what goes in to these dishes! I will definitely definitely be returning! Not to mention on Tuesdays they have $.99 margaritas! Can it get any better? LOL no!
