This place is a paradise! Built from all natural, recycled materials it is a beautiful eco hostel with a very nice sized pool and comfortable dorm rooms. The food was great! Reasonably priced and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Vegan options are very clearly labelled.

Soulfood in beautiful space - Edit
This place is magic. Casa Abierta is built from natural material with plenty of trees and a pool which makes it into an infinitely pleasant environment. I was greeted with huge smiles - the staff is amazing. And finally, the food is incredible. I had a jugo verde, cold avocado soup with garlic bread (which was my favorite and just made me happy to be alive) and falafel salad. Made my tastebuds, soul and body happy. And prices are fair. I’m glad a place like this exists.

Vegan friendly - Edit
It’s great to find restaurants like this in cities where you don’t expect finding anything. Food was delicious but I seem to ran to this same problem everywhere: portions are not big enough for me.. I would have added one more burrito and then I would have been perfectly satisfied. But taste was amazing and service was good :) thank you!

A really beautiful place to enjoy a meal. A great vegetarian menu, we enjoyed the burritos. The vegan items are clearly marked and there's a pretty great variety of options

One of the rare places in Leon where u can find a little bit of peace and silence;) solid vegetarian menue, vegan options available. Of u go there u should definitely try their falafel, they go either with a fresh salat or in a pesto-red beet-enchilada-kind of thing. Fresh juices are just amazing. Soul food!
