Step up From Fast Food - Edit

We had the vegan “chorizo “ tacos,which were quinoa based. They were REALLY spicy,and I like spicy, but it was a bit much. We ordered without the cheese and sour cream, but we’re charged for jalapeños. Many restaurants won’t do substitutions and Carrburrito is no exception. Cross contamination is definitely a concern. We watched staff at the bar use gloved hands to grab pork from a container to put on a burrito. I never saw a glove change. The young woman that took our order was clueless. I stated we were vegan and still tried to give my husband cheese and sour cream. The salsas are very good. Not sure we will return.

Great! - Edit

I was nervous walking in because there was a lot of cross contamination going on. I asked how we could avoid the cross contamination. The worker said they did not have ingredients in the back to pull from to keep it safe. I was going to leave but my husband suggested getting stuff on the side so I can pick through it. As we talked with the employee we discovered the only concern would be the beans which was located between and in front of meat. The rice was to the side, the veggies came from a separate grill in the back, and the salsa and jalapeños were enough away from the dairy to not be concerned. So I got the nachos with grilled veggies with beans and fresh jalapeños on the side (because it comes with jarred jalapeños). It was delicious and very filling. All for $9! I didn’t find any cross contamination in my food and only had to be concerned about the beans. I will definitely be back!!!

Pretty good! - Edit

I have gone back to get a build my own salad with all the delicious veggies and lots of avo. The vinegar dressing is also super tasty! Huge portion for decent price. First time the service was excellent and second time just meh.

Cons: Last time I def had something rotten in my salad
