but as a main my boyfriend (non-veg) ordered pork souvklaki (also had tzatziki) and I had the vegan gyros with the tzatziki that should be vegan right? He tasted both of them and said it tastes the same… they also looked the same (consistency etc) to me.
The food was good, but maybe check twice that they put down vegan and not serve you the „normal“ one.
The receipt also only stated „Tzatziki“.
Cons: make sure they know you‘re vegan

Vegan Gyros with Tzatziki - Edit
I had the Vegan Gyros. It comes with tzatziki, fries, pita bread and salad. The pita was okay, Gyros and Tzatziki was great!

First of all the servise is 10 star. They have menus on a few languages. They are so kind and caring. Second of all, they have various delicious vegan dishes and my recommendation is vegan pizza and tzatziki. Unfortunately none of they deserts arent vegan for now. Also have gluten free pizza if you like. This is the best place you can eat vegan in Laganas. All recommendations 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Read moreThe food is very tasty. Vegan pizza and gyros, as well as vegan tzatziki are delicious. They have about 10 vegan dishes on the menu, so the choice is quite large.
They also have a menu in several languages, so if you are, say, from Hungary, you will have a menu in your language, the same applies to Serbia, etc.
Laganas itself is not a place I would go to again, but because of this restaurant I would happily go there every year. All in all, a perfect ten.
The price is a bit expensive for my taste (gyros is 16e), but it's worth the money.

I had pasta with vegetables - it was good, but definitely not worthy of of €10. 🙄 Some pasta with 1 piece of cauliflower, 2 pieces of broccoli, 2 cherry tomatoes, some onion and about 10 pieces of pea. Literally. 😅

Vegan burger - Edit
The burger was okay, it was actually cold which wasn’t stated on the menu. It just was never cooked at all, so they blended the ingredients up to make a burger and put it between a bun. It was fairly messy and extremely slushy but I have to say the flavour was nice! It would be nice if they told me the burger was going to be cold before I ordered it, but apart from that it was a nice but weird meal!

Disappointing vegan mush burger when ICELAND is a 20 min drive and guess what they sell the NO BULL burger for 3.99 euros for a two pack. No excuse to serve mush to vegans. Plain ignorance. Iceland also have Linda McCartney vegan sausages and pies and I repeat — it’s on the island!!!

Its not easy to be vegan in Zakynthos, but luckily some places have a few options. I had the Vegan Burger one day and a traditional Greek plate the other (which they turned Vegan, but normally it's with minced meat 😵) both were delicious! I recommend this place 😊

Best vegan food in Laganas - Edit
It was a cosy place with cool decor and it was nice to be able to order something else than potatoes and beans. There was one vegan option among the starters and two "main" options. I ordered the burger which was okay however nothing really felt homemade.

Special section on menu for vegans and gluten free. Three options for vegans and I had the burger, which was amazing. Only disappointment was that the vegan dessert of chocolate avocado mousse wasn't available on the day we visited. Great location, friendly staff and good service. Thanks for the recommendation through the Happy Cow app.

I found this little gem thanks to Happy Cow. We spent a day visiting laganas and headed here for dinner. The decor is lovely and quite unique. The restaurant is very clean. The waiting staff are very helpful. There is a vegan and gluten free menu which is varied. I had a chickpea burger which was good. There is even a vegan dessert on the menu (sadly I couldn't sample this as it had gluten in it!) but the strawberry sorbet was nice. I would definitely recommend.
