A few choices - Edit
Limited vegan choices. Avo toast was $14. There were a few lunch items but no other breakfasts. We left without ordering. Just wanted to write a review because the others were so outdated. Probably ok for lunch with Omnis but there are better choices around. Pulp is around the corner for instance.

Cute Place! - Edit
So this place we found through the Happy Cow app looking for something where we could eat something yummy for breakfast and sit down. There’s fresh baked items at the front, and we sat in one of their booths which had fresh flowers on it (it was a nice touch). The coffee was fresh, and the menu had a few vegan items for me. I wish their specialty coffee could be made dairy-free but it did not. The avocado toast was delicious which they used fresh thick cut bread. I had the Fakin Egg and Cheese sandwich which was awesome. They used tofu for the egg which was seasoned well. Also, it came on an everything bagel that wasn’t all over the place (just enough pizazz!). Super cute place.
Read morePros: good egg alternative, fresh baked vegan desserts
Cons: not enough specialty coffee options, needs more vegan options (like pancakes).

Would give 5 stars ! - Edit
Cardinal is an amazing spot. A true small business, the folks who work here care about it so much and it shows. The food is amazing, there’s always a lot of rotating vegan options, additional stuff that can be made vegan, and very clear markings on the menu. The staff are knowledgeable and can always help with dietary restrictions. The Brekky bowl is really good, as is the fakin’ egg and cheez. Fries, I believe, are cooked in oil that cooks non vegan stuff. I come here all the time for brunch and have gotten takeout dinner as well! Always yummy. Great comfort food.

Cons: Fries not true vegan :(

Flavorful & filling - Edit
Cozy, friendly feel. Menu has several vegan options, clearly marked. I had the New Mexican bowl. Spicy, flavorful and filling. A bit pricey but entirely satisfying.

A Cozy, Creative Cafe - Edit
As soon as you walk through the door, you'll be greeted by friendly vibes. Don't be surprised if you have a short wait...This eatery is very popular, and for good reason. The food is fresh and creative, and the prices are quite reasonable. I had the vegan bagel sandwich, which is cashew cream cheese, avacado, and veggies, served on an everything bagel. It was divine. So was the coffee. We went another time for lunch, and I had the lunch bowl. Yummy goodness. The owners are top chefs and knew what they were doing when they located in Asbury Park. Maybe another location soon? I wouldn't be surprised.

Deserves 5 Stars - phenomenal! - Edit
What a delight, this place is fantastic! The decor and vibe is so cozy. We went for Mother's Day brunch and got the breakfast sandwich. I ADORE breakfast sandwiches and recreate them any chance I get but to have such a delicious rendition at a restaurant was such a treat. Also.......VEGAN CROISSANTS Y'ALL. I cannot wait to try the rest of their offerings.

Totally deserves 5 stars - Edit
Awesome vegan options with a good variety to choose from. I had a hard time making a decision. I went with non veg friends and family and they ALL loved it making it a perfect place to dine with people who’s dietary preferences are varied. The coffee was really good and the breakfast nachos were delicious! The atmosphere and staff were awesome. We definitely will go back when we visit Asbury Park again. They even had vegan dessert options but, we were too full to try this time.

brb cardinal provisions - Edit
popped in at the end of a sunday brunch service and got the fakin' egg and cheez. flavorful, hot and crunchy, totally hit the spot. i love finding a savory vegan breakfast. they were out of tofu, so i asked them to sub in tempeh. gotta give it up for a non-vegan place with more than one vegan protein.
Read morevegan options are clearly marked. more places should be doing this by now. thanks for killin' it, cardinal provisions.

Best vegan coissants - Edit
If you are vegetarian- your fine! You will have TONS of options here. But if you are vegan you might have a much more limited selection. In fact there are only two options that are listed at VEGAN on the menu. But never fear! They have little Vs next to options that can be made vegan! They even carry vegan cream cheese!
Read moreEven better is that they seem to always have a vegan special! My friend got some sort of vegan banana pancake and when I went they had the most amazing veggie burger on their vegan croissant. Yup. You heard me. They have vegan croissants.
Downsides? They don't serve liquor, but I am sure if you bring your own vegan champagne they will let your mix it with their orange juice. They also only do breakfast, brunch, and lunch. They do catering as well. Very pretty setting, and super cute vintage salt and pepper shakers.
Pros: Vegan croissants, Vegan specials and customizable menu, Cute atmosphere
Cons: Omni restaurant, Only breakfast and lunch, A little pricey
