A Few Tweaks Could Vastly Improve the Quality - Edit
Caramella attended the vegan market in La Latina. Two lovely people worked the stand, filled with cookies, plum cakes, and sticky buns. I left with a pecan-sticky bun.
Read moreThe sticky bun unraveled as it was placed into the to-go box. The bun was covered in sweet syrup and candied pecans. The gummy dough was undercooked, but I’m partial to the texture.
With a few changes (rolling the buns tighter and cooking the buns a little longer), I'm confident that Caramella’s buns could be much better.
