Great Brunch

We came across this place by chance. The breakfast was fantastic, whole food based with scrambled tofu instead of egg and actual potatoes rather than hash browns. Had loads of mushrooms and was a big plateful. I had the granola bowl which was not as generous but did taste good. It was nice that they had a couple of vegan kids' meals and my daughter enjoyed hers.
There was also a vegan flatbread and at least one vegan cake, we tried the carrot. It was pretty good. A few more vegan options would have been useful though.
The place is comfy and has a nice vibe.

Hello and thankyou for your review.

I'm glad you guys had such a nice time. The cinnamon buns are vegan and sometimes the cookie of the day as well as the spice carrot cake and we have Jude's Vegan Vanilla Ice-cream.

All our plant based items are made with vegan products.

The change to plant based from vegan was driven by allergens. as though we make every effort we cannot guarantee there isn't any cross-contamination.

Hope to see you soon,

Owain

Canvas & Plant-based Cream

We enjoyed our impromptu visit (upon finding Guava Kitchen next door is now online only), and the food was lovely; though waiter bringing it (who'd not taken our order) had to confirm it was all vegan.

Cons: Use 'plant based' on menu which may not mean vegan

Not bad

This place would be really elevated if they made their pancakes vegan. As it is there are a few options including a vegan breakfast, a granola bowl, and some salad bowls. Only one vegan cake. I had a granola bowl and it was nice but nothing special

vegan breakfast

Had an awesome vegan breakfast today (described as one on menu!) vegan rosemary sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, avocado and sourdough with spread. They also made a great oatmilk cappuchino.

Pros: Near Forest Hill station, Near shops/Horniman Museum , Several totally vegan choices on the menu
