Exceeded expectations!

Definitely one of the better non-vegan cafes I've been to in the Forest of Dean. Kitchen offered to make me some vegan coleslaw to order (it's not on their menu) which I found very impressive. Their (home made) vegan sausage roll is possibly the tastiest ever. Plant-based milks and sweet treats too. Attached to the Dean Heritage Centre and a very short walk from Soudley ponds.

Pros: Very pleasant home-made food, Very accomodating staff, Very nice location

Cons: Limited opening hours (midday lunch only), Always room for more vegan menu options , Would possibly benefit from clearer menu listings

vegan friendly oasis

Good vegan food is hard to find in Forest of Dean. But Camp Mill provides excellent vegan soup, paninis and wraps. The staff are very friendly., and there are lovely views over the lake by the Dean Heritage Centre.

Great find, Great service, Great food

At last there is somewhere to go to get great vegan and vegetarian options and drinks.
Loved my vegan hot chocolate.
Also had the vegan coconut flapjack which was excellent.

A nice comfy sofa area as well as traditional tables and chairs.
Staff were all very friendly and welcoming, i will definitely be returning regularly.

Pros: Soya milk available, Flexible helpful staff, thinking about introducing fresh juices on demand

Cons: none to mention
