Excellent experience!!

Stayed at this amazing vegan guesthouse with café. Excellent staff - owner Patrick was so helpful in arranging tours and other advice. Very easy to communicate with, and the cafe has incredible food too! Especially enjoyed the nom pang pate sandwich, hearty breakfast, and coffee smoothie. Really admire their commitment to environmental sustainability. Can’t wait to come back again in future!!

Paradise for vegans

The place is quiet, clean and with a variety of breakfast, meals, smoothies and other drinks. I got the vish amok, the sauce was mouth watering and the vegetables crunchy and savory. I finish with a pot of green tea.

Pros: Menu, Tea and tea pot, Owner and staff

Great food in an area away from the centre of town

This place is located away from the main Kampot town in a peaceful neighbourhood, but it does not take long to get to via tuk tuk from the centre of town. There is a "Cambodhi" sign at the front.

When I arrived, the business seemed to all be managed by one woman who handled the customers, cooking and payment. She was very nice and worked very diligently. The food was delicious. I had the congee which had great flavour as well as an iced Mondulkiri coffee which was also delicious.

There were about five tables inside a small room if you want to eat in. I did see some people order food for take away.

Must visit!

They offer sooo many different dishes and drinks. It’s very hard to decide, but once you’ve made your decision, you won’t be disappointed. The atmosphere here is great as well. Thank you!

Great place to stay and eat

Stayed here for 6 nights during our trip to Cambodia. Everything was good. The owners are friendly and passionate vegans. The food is varied, tasty and affordable. It's worth popping in even if you are staying elsewhere.

Our room was comfy. It's an easy walk or short tuk tuk ride to the town centre.

The hosts arranged a couple of tuk tuk tours for us with great guides. They even got us a small discount.

Tasty food but a bit outside

It’s a small cute place with good options for food. I had the yellow smoothie bowl, my friend the scrambled tofu. The tofu has some curry powder in it which is a bit surprising, but it’s still very good!
They have soy milk for coffee and a lovely staff.

Tasty but tiny portions

Food was tasty, but the portion was tiny, I had to go out for another meal once I left there. If you're not a big eater, it might suit you. Flavour was good.

Pros: Tasty

Cons: Small portions

Super amazing place!!

After reading all the reviews I was convinced I HAD to go - and my goodness am I glad I did!

I went for lunch and the place was pretty empty but the woman was more than happy to let me order! I had a Nom Pang Pâté as my main which was super delcious and fresh! Also very filling 10/10 recommend (I also really wanted to try a vegan Nom Pang before I left Cambodia!).

The sunshine smoothie was really delicious and the crepe was a perfect finish to the meal - albeit I left feeling super stuffed!

All-in-all, this was one of the best (if not the best) places I have been to in Cambodia and I am so happy to have come!

I just wish that I could have stayed at the guesthouse to have experienced a true amazing vegan vibe!

Mindblowing!

We stayed at the guesthouse for 3 nights, eat there every day and had an exceptional time. Food and drinks are so so good, staff is super friendly and Tola & Patrick are always down for a chat and have great advice. They are only using fresh ingredients and supporting local animal projects! Must visit if you're ever in Kampot.

You have to come here if you're in Kampot!!

Tola's restaurant is such a lovely piece of paradise in Kampot, I had the local breakfast of congee, it was so nice to try some authentic Cambodian food made vegan.

Will definitely come back given the opportunity!!

Wonderful place

We had the tofu scramble and it was super delicious and creamy. While eating we enjoyed the view over the mountains. The owners are extremely friendly and gave some nice recommendations for Kampot to us. Would definitely go there again if I had the time.

Great food and amazing hosts

We went here for dinner and because we enjoyed it so much we came back for brunch the next day before travelling to Kep (which the owners helped us book).

The owners are amazing people, and we really enjoyed or chats with Tola and Patrick. The food and drinks were great, the crepe with chocolate is amazing! Highly recommend the Charity golden milk and the nom pang pate as well.

Will definitely be back and stay in the guesthouse if we ever get to visit Kampot again!

Great food, kind staff

The food here is great. We had a nice dinner and some conversations with the owner. They even wrote down and shared the amok recipe with us.

I had a Nom Pang Pâté, which was very good. Also had an amazing chocolate crepe as dessert.

Food with love and passion

We went there for lunch. They cooked us a beautiful very, very tasty meal though it was their day off and the chef wasn’t in.
Not only the food was done with love, Patrick and Tola are creating an atmosphere where you can sit down, relax, read one of their many interesting books and be happy.
We’re very glad that we’ve found this place. Bit sad it was on our last day but now we know where to stay, eat and gell at home when we’ll come back. 😊🙏

Really delicious

This is a really cute little restaurant with great food. I had the amok curry and their homemade lemonade which were both delicious.

The owners were also very lovely. Very chatty and friendly.

It is a little out of the centre of Kampot but it’s well worth a visit.

Peaceful location. Amazing food and people.

This place was being advertised in my vegan hostel sacred lotus in Phnom Penh and I really wanted to try their restaurant and I wasn’t disappointed! It’s a 20min walk/ 5min tuk tuk ride from the city center and so quiete without traffic! They recommend their new mushroom dish which I absolutely loved, the smoothie was amazing as well! The owners are super sweet and took 1hour to talk to me :)
Everybody should come here when I’m Kampot!!

Hey Marten! Can you confirm the address? My friend is in Cambodia right now and says the map location is wrong and is having trouble finding it. Any landmarks or neighboring businesses, street names would help! Many thanks!

Hey! The location looks about right. It is a small 4 flour white building with grass in the front. Location is also on Google Maps and can be found under Cambodhi - Vegan Guesthouse and Cafe..

Lovely staff. Delicious food

We stayed at this guesthouse for two nights and had the most wonderful stay. Tola and Patrick are very kind and welcoming hosts. The atmosphere is lovely and there is a great rooftop to catch the sunset from. The food was delicious - the menu was smaller than other places but that ensures quality. The big breakfast was very impressive, the smoothies so tasty, the amok curry so flavourful, and the crepe with apple and cinnamon honestly one of the best crepes we’ve ever had. This place is a must visit, and recommend staying here too - nothing nicer than waking up somewhere where you can order breakfast from a fully vegan kitchen! They only opened the guesthouse and cafe two months and have done a great job so far.

Pros: Amazing food , Lovely staff, Nice ambiance

Amazing guesthouse & vegan cafe.

It’s an easy 15-20 minute walk from the main downtown area to this cozy space. With a smaller menu compared to other places in town, you’ll have a very well-thought out, high-quality dining experience cooked with love. It’s a small kitchen so be patient, it’s worth it. I know it’s a western dish, but I couldn’t get enough of their oatmeal. So huge and creamy, I could eat it everyday and never be bored.

Pros: All-vegan menu, Kind and friendly staff

Amazing drinks and food!

We had the greatest food and drinks at Cambodhi! We loved loved LOVED this place in Kampot. Please go there and try their delicious food! The people are also so friendly! And the place is very cosy!

There is a drink with tahini in it at Cambodhi. I don’t know what magic happened in that drink but I am officially jealous that I do not know how to make it myself to enjoy every single day. And the mango sticky riiiiceeeee MMMMM!

(PS: Cambodhi has a guesthouse as well. And I totally regret not staying there. So, now you know!)
