Nice cafe - Edit
Not the best option for a hangover breakfast but still tasty. Crepe was a little bit dry however that could be down to choice of toppings

good breakfast - Edit
I had the super healthy set, which included scrambled tofu, a bagel with hummus and a small salad. It also i included an orange juice and a tea.
Read moreWe also had a crepe, with fruits and coconut cream and a cappuccino.
We had enough food, hence didnt try any of the cakes, which looked very tasty.
Overall it was very tasty, but slightly on the expensive side.

Disappointing - Edit
I’ve been a vegan for fifteen years and I found the food here lacking in terms of taste/balance. I had the crepes with the “cocoa paste” and didn’t eat much of them in the end as the balance of flavors was just odd—and I’m no stranger to using whole foods (coconut cream, hazelnuts, etc) to make fillings, etc. I had hoped for better based on the other reviews. 😔 It’s great what they’re attempting to do, but it definitely needs improvement.

Cute with some options - Edit
If you have a long history with healthy/disordered alternatives - you’ll love it! It tastes amazing. But if youre like my partner, and eat normal food, you can apparently taste its healthy based or reduced sugar. We got coffees and a slice of the apple cake which were all great sizes!

great range of vegan options - Edit
cute cafe with lovely staff. they have a decent range of vegan treats, from crepes to waffles and other breakfast bits. the service was quick and the food good (i had the crepes with fruit and coconut cream, which was lovely.) the only negative is the fact all plant-based milks are extra which seems pretty unnecessary, especially for a cafe with a diverse range of vegan options. it’s also on the pricier side, but i’d still suggest a visit if you’re nearby this place.

decent brunch place but ed triggering - Edit
although I didn’t like the fitness approach (I wouldn’t call it healthy) I have to admit that the variety of vegan options is impressive. waffles were good and I recommend choosing vegan cream cheese as a topping since it’s amazing, but coffee was rather not good especially considering the price and plant based milk fee. also, I noticed that serving and actual ingredients differ a lot from review to review

weird healthy vibe - Edit
Apparently they're specialized in sugar-free sweets, I'm not used to that kind of concept, I guess it's not for me.
Read moreI had fruit pierogis but was quite disappointed. I just really don't think big cold chunks of apples and other fresh fruits pair that well with warm soft pierogi. Maybe there was some sort of sauce missing.

Disappointing cake - Edit
Was excited to find some vegan cake but unfortunately I was somewhat disappointed. I had the chocolate salted caramel tart and a cheesecake with raspberry sauce on top. The salted caramel was better. The cheesecake tasted bland and somewhat grainy. Each piece cost about five US dollars

Holiday food review of Kraków!
Read more@cakestercafe 8.5/10

Apple Cake 8.5/10
Orange juice 6/10
Cakester cafe was very near our hotel and we had lunch here twice. It is vegetarian but with plenty of vegan options labelled. Portions are generous! They are friendly, a few outdoor seats but indoors is bright and pretty too.
The scrambled tofu was good. It was light and fluffy with strong tumeric taste. It needed a lot more salt and pepper which I added myself (kind of a theme in Krakow, English tastes are maybe less healthy. But a bit funny considering there was a giant salt mine!). I never saw salt and pepper already on the table but you can ask for it. The salad dressing was punchy and vinegary in a good way. Very soft white bread toast which I liked as it kept the dish quite light.
The apple cake looked huge but it had a lot of apple puree so it was actually very light in reality. It was also not too sweet at all which seems to be the preference for cakes in Krakow from our experience. Things are not sickly sweet which means you can eat a bigger portion, but I do have a very sweet tooth so I might have wanted more sugar to make it a 10/10.
I don't like bits and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. I didn't ask so it's totally my fault for ordering something I don't like.
My parents had a hummus bagel with their veggie meal and the hummus here is very much blended chickpeas. They did not add tahini or very much olive oil! Mixed feelings on that but we do have some crazy good hummus in NW London.
All in all a really lovely convenient spot for lunch/tea and cake! Highly recommend!

Great for savoury food, not for crepes - Edit
The scrambled tofu and the cabbage&mushroom pierogi were great, the crepes were bad. They just took the pre made crepes out of the fridge, so they didn't taste fresh, plus the cocoa filling was quite bad, the fresh fruits were good though and honestly the only enjoyable part of this dish. My friend (not vegan) had the waffles with bacon and said they were also good, so stick with the savory dishes and avoid the crepes
