Lovely cafe and garden seating - Edit
There are a few items on the menu for vegans, I opted for the vegan cheese and chilli panini which was delicious. They also have vegan cakes.

Lovely atmosphere - Edit
I took my girlfriend out for a vegan afternoon tea. This was one of the first places I found that offered such catering. The atmosphere was very nice, lots of local history on the walls and old books to browse.

Great little bookshop cafe. - Edit
Cafe attached to an epic new and second hand bookshop offering teas coffees and cakes. There was a vegan sandwich, a toasted ciabatta, jacket potato and a very nice salad. They did 2 vegan cakes and a fruit scone. It was all delicious. The two ladies there were very nice. Reasonable priced. Relaxing atmosphere.

Pretty Naff for vegans - Edit
I should not have expected much in the way of interesting and tasty vegan food in a place like Carlisle. There wasn’t much suitable for vegans available the day I went here and what I did have they asked if I’d like it with dairy butter. Needless to say it was ok just not very exciting.
Read morePros: Tiny glimmer of hope in an otherwise backward city, Bookshop is pretty good.
Cons: A tad expensive , Unimaginative
