!!! - Edit
The food is absolutely delicious. Even though it's a cafe, it has meals fit for lunch or dinner. It was hard to decide what to pick, despite the small menu, because everything seems yummy. The prices are fair for the amount you get.
Read moreSome of the cats were a bit 'electric' (overstimulated) from getting too much attention, but I gather they have a room in the back to retreat to. The chubby tuxedo cat (Tarquin) was sweet. The concept of letting people adopt the cats is great.
The venue is really nice and cosy. I will definitely be going again.
Pros: Amazing food in great portions, Cats, Cosy
Cons: Cats fight/try to steal food

cats! - Edit
Nice cafe where you can hang out with cats! Was quite full on Sunday afternoon. Food is ok, all vegan but not a very vide selection. Check out this place if you like cats.

Lunch with the kitties! - Edit
By far the best vegan Caesar salad I have had! Staff are super friendly and I got the impression that it is a great place to work. I fell in love with Ben, a very sleepy black cat with the best fangs!!

Great Vegan Café - Edit
Cafe Venosa is Montreal's first vegan cat café. The place is really well decorated, with a terrace on St-Denis for people watching, a terrace in the back to relax with the cats and lots of tables and armchairs inside to chat, study, read, play board games and be amazed by the cats.
Read moreThey were out of many things when I went, but I was very happy with the items I chose, particularly the Caprese Sandwich, the Foamy Hot Chocolate and the cupcake.
And the cats were great, although not that present.
Pros: Friendly Staff, Nice Vibe, Clean

Heaven for children - Edit
We ended up having a late dinner and decided on Cafe Venosa. Our small child adored one of the young cats for adoption. We got a wrap and salad. They were OK- but the desserts and drinks were stellar! On the premise of saving cats lives alone ( and entertainment factor!) we give this place 5 ++ stars.

Best vegan food in the city! - Edit
These guys have the best vegan food in Montreal, I just wish they had even more options! Right now they have a few sandwiches (all delicious!), a Caesar salad (awesome dressing!), a few smaller items (like a quiche), and some side salads.
Read moreThey have a bunch of desserts as well (cookies were excellent), so if you have a sweet tooth I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
Coffees are all great and are made with bird friendly (shade) coffee beans.
The prices are very reasonable as well, which is often not the case with specialty food.
The place itself is beautiful inside and they even have a back terrace that is closed off so you can sit outside with the cats.
This place has my highest recommendation for anyone looking for a cozy cafe, vegan or not!
Pros: Excellent food, Good prices, Amazing atmosphere

Awesome place - Edit
Their interior terrace is beautiful and the rest of the place looks lovely too. I had the Caesar salad which was very good, you could not tell it was vegan. The cats are friendly and seem well-cared-for. I'm glad that they are educating the public about the importance of adopting vs buying and of neutering pets.

Tried the tofu wrap, a coffee and a carrot cupcake. Everything is vegan and delicious. You have a smile on your face the whole time you're there cause cats. Very nice outdoor patio and the whole place is a kitten playground.
