Cute cafe - Edit
Good coffee (we ordered iced coffee and they served it with glass straw) and also tasty vegan cakes. The menu wasn't clearly marked as a vegan which was a bit confusing since I don't speak german.

Delicious cakes - Edit
Really lovely cafe in Neustadt. They have non dairy milk options in Almond, Oat (Oatly!) soya and hazelnut! But their cakes are delicious. Just make sure to bring cash with you! They don’t accept cards

Amazing cakes! - Edit
We went there on our last holiday with two omnivore friends who live in the area and certainly didn't regret our choice.
Read moreI have to say I was very surprised when I tasted the creamy layer some cakes consist of. It was absolutely delicious, not too sweet and the consistency is amazing, I would be very interested to get the recipe of that cream. My cake - a banana and chocolate cake - unfortunately didn't have a creamy layer, but was excellent, too.
Even our omnivore friends were surprised that vegan cakes can taste like cakes with animal ingredients (I guess they didn't believe us before), therefore I hope they'll pay a visit now and then, so that this lovely café keeps going. We certainly will when we're in the area again.
The cafe is quite small, so if you want to be sure to get a table, book one in advance!

My favourite café! - Edit
Just a great place. Cozy and comfortable, friendly atmosphere, great staff, delicious cake and coffee, crêpes and tarte flambée, the best vegan egg salad I ever tried... and many interesting events such as talks, concerts and discussions take place there, too!

Lovely café - Edit
I really like this place, there’s such a nice and relaxed atmosphere and lovely staff. Unfortunately the cake I tried was only mediocre, therefore I can’t give 5 stars. They offer 5 different plant-based milks for the coffee! They have different cakes, but also sandwiches and other savoury snacks like omelette and Flammkuchen. I will go back and try other cakes and snacks!

Cozy! *Edit: New Menu & Brunch! - Edit
Such a nice cozy spot to grab a warm bowl of chili. They also have a little play area for the kids, so it's family-friendly as well. The cakes do sell out quickly, so it's best to go earlier for the best choice.
Read more*The above still stands, but now they do brunch on Sundays. Reservation is recommended, and if you reserve before Friday a regular coffee is free. For brunch, there were various spreads, cheezes, slices, fresh rolls(and pretzels!), hot dishes were tofu scramble and the best surprise, lasagna!! There was also a crêpe station where you could request your filling. We left so stuffed! There is also a new menu with savoury meals like Flammküchen! We're excited to go back to try that.

Entirely vegan, this cafe really goes the extra mile. They only use electric energy from renewable sources, they are a part of foodsharing dresden etc. And they cakes and sandwiches are amazing.

cake amazing although often out of stock - Edit
The cake is very excellent and varies a lot so you can go there again and again and again. However, don't be too late:if you arrive after 4pm on a Sunday they usually have not much left. Which is very sad considering the exquisite food

Good food, but not the most friendly place - Edit
We had coffee, hot chocolate, a dessert cream and a brownie cake there last week. It was fine, but we felt slightly unwelcome as the only guests - who knows, maybe they wanted to close or so, but it was not closing hours yet.

AMAZING CAKE - Edit
This place is so cute - kitschy cafe with mismatched sofas, very warm and spacious, with nice bathrooms. The bilingual staff are friendly and the cake selection is great. We got the Big Bang - mind blowing. They also have the option to buy bagels and cakes from the day before for half the price which is a nice idea.
Read moreThe bagels were a little too salty and there wasn't much choice, but the tea was good. Overall I really liked it here.

Hygiene could be better - Edit
They touch the food with hands after handling money and petting a visitor's dog. I find this disturbing. I noticed they do this all the time with other customers as well and it seems they find it normal.

Lovely cafe - Edit
This cafe looked lovely, with a stack of board games and mismatched furniture. We didn't have time to stay, unfortunately, so we just got takeaway. And it was delicious! We had a tub of pasta salad, which was really flavoursome and filling. There was an incredible selection of cakes, so we shared a slice of chocolate speculoos cake. It was sublime! Sometimes chocolate sponge can be quite dry, but this was really moist and delicious.

Coming from Berlin, I'm a bit spoilt when it comes to vegan cafes, but I was still pleasantly surprised by this place. Although the tea, vegan cake and chilli we had were excellent, the nicest part for me was the cosy atmosphere and comfortable furniture.

Very good value for money - Edit
I have to say, in the past month I have been doing quite a lot of cake testing all over Germany ;) The cake I ate at V-Cake was honestly one of the best! I had chocolate, banana, nougat cake, very good. They had a lot of cakes to choose from.
Read moreI think you get a big, filling piece for a good price! (mine was 3.30 I think).
I also had a hot chocolate with whipped cream. The whipped cream was really good but I was a little bit dissappointed by the hot chocolate, didn't taste chocolatey enough for me.
Pros: Big pieces, reasonable prices, Yummy cakes!, Much choice

best cake I have had - Edit
I went to this adorable little cake shop every day of my trip. This is the best cake I have ever eaten, and I eat a lot of cake. I am in love with the cream they use to top their cakes. It is absolutely delicious and not overpoweringly sweet like many frostings I eat. They serve different cakes everyday as well as tarts, sammiches in a to go case, and some candy bars. My dad was really happy to see that they sold cliff bars. The staff is friendly and recognized me when I kept showing up and raving about their cakes. They also serve coffee, tea, and lattes. Definitely do not miss this place.
