Wir kennen das Riptide schon etwas länger und kommen immer wieder gerne vorbei.
Read moreDas Gebäude ist ein bezauberndes altes Fachwerkhaus und die Bedienung freundlich.
Man hat eine kleine Auswahl an herzhaften Gerichten, eine große abwechslungsreiche Auswahl an Getränken von Kaffee, Tee, Säften über Cocktails bis zu bieten und Spirituosen und ein paar Süßspeisen.
Die Karte kann online eingesehen werden.
Die veganen Optionen sind klar gekennzeichnet. Da es allerdings vegane und vegetarische Optionen gibt, schadet es sicherlich nicht darauf hinzuweisen, dass man xy in vegan haben möchte.
Für Musikfans gibt es noch die Möglichkeit sich Schallplatten zu kaufen was dem Café einen ganz besonderen Charme verleiht.
Es bietet sich an hier einen Stop einzulegen und sich kurz von der stressigen Innenstadt zu erholen ;)

Cons: Es sind eher einfache Speisen , Die Auswahl der Speisen ist sehr klein , Es gibt mwn keinen Brunch

Enttäuschender Service - Edit
Wir haben knapp 1 Stunde auf das Essen gewartet, einen Salat und einen Hummus-Teller sowie ein gefülltes Fladenbrot.
Read moreDer Hummus prickelte auf der Zunge, wir konnten ihn nicht essen (sehr heißer Sommertag). Der Nachbartisch hat ebenfalls Hummus bestellt. Nachdem ich meinen Hummus zurückgegeben habe, laut Küche aber alles okay war, kam die Bedienung und hat dem Nebentisch gesagt, dass der Hummus ausverkauft sei.
Uns sagte sie, dass der Hummus auf jeden Fall noch genießbar wäre. Da weder Limette noch andere säuerliche Zutaten in dem Humus wären, haben wir uns auf unser Gefühl verlassen und den unserer Meinung nach verdorbenen Hummus nicht gegessen. Letztenendes mussten wir ihn zahlen.
Für das gefüllte Fladenbrot fragten wir nach Soße, diese kam circa eine halbe Stunde später, das Fladenbrot war bereits gegessen. 
Anmerkung: das Restaurant war nicht besonders voll, die Wartezeiten waren immens.
Pros: Salat hat gut geschmeckt, Schöne draußen Sitzgelegenheit, Große vegane Auswahl

Great options with outside seating - Edit
This was my first time visiting after they relocated and I really liked the new location - I also feel like they added even more vegan options to the menu. Very friendly staff, nice outside seating and the coffee was great.

I really enjoy the burgers they serve. The fries or potato wedges are also delicious. They have also sandwiches and small dishes. They have changing cakes and some of them are absolutely delicious.

Die Fladenbrote sind ganz lecker und durchaus empfehlenswert. Hotdog und Currywurst hingegen waren leider geschmacklich gar nicht meins. Leider relativ lange Wartezeit, aber das Personal war freundlich. Ich denke, bei den Speisen ist noch Luft nach oben. 🙃

Tolles cafe mit Plattenladen - Edit
Ein sehr tolles café mit sehr netten und tollen Mitarbeitern. Alles mindestens vegetarisch und vieles vegan oder als vegane Alternative vorhanden. Wochentags immer Mittagstisch. Jeden Tag was anderes und die Angebote sind jede Woche neu.

"Junkfood Heaven" indeed. Had this savory sandwich, and was not disappointed. Wedges were great as well, with vegan mayo. Seems like most of the meals are finger food-ish, but good portions to get full. All cake were vegan, so it was hard to decide.

One of the best cafes in Braunschweig - Edit
This cafe has a really cozy feel to it. It has an extra area for smokers, but also a place to sit outside. A lot of vegan options, especially desserts (muffins, cookies, cupcakes, and sometimes some cakes). Just make sure you read the label when you order, and you will be just fine.

Most of the lunch/dinner entrees are vegan. I've tried two of the veggie burgers and they were really really yummy, I really can't wait to go back and try their other kinda vegan traditional German food stuff.

Great place, wonderful Currywurst! - Edit
I have been here only once, back in June, and I really loved the place! I had a vegan "Currywurst" (a traditional German sausage served with tomato paste and curry) which came along with a greek-style salad and some flat bread. Delicious! The place has a very relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Just great, I hope to be back soon!

Great Place To Be - Edit
A friend and me just visited, the Burgers were not the biggest ones I saw but tasted great and were inexpensive. You have to see that cosy place wich is far more then just a Café and record store. It is a relaxed place to be and you can have a chat with the waiters - they know a lot about the local vegan scene.

I went there a few weeks ago and had a Veggie Burger with Nachos and very tasty homemade lemonade with ginger. In a quite little side street. Its also a bar and record store.
