Demand one of these cafés in every suburb! - Edit
I haven't actually paid Kafé Ingenstans that many visits, maybe a total of three. Really foolish on my part, as this is a place that doesn't disappoint. While their fare might be simple and especially limited (one single dish a day), I have found it to be very tasty, hearty, and yes, at 85:- with possibility of re-filling, certainly affordable. I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence, but the baked goods have not been all that present during my visits; all I could find was buns. Maybe something worth mentioning to the super nice staff, who's always keen to receive stickers and spread the message of various causes, ranging from the role on cash in society to, yeah, HappyCow😄
Read moreThe opening hours are perhaps not the best to fit my schedule, but from now on I'm going to make sure I visit them on a more regular basis. After all, these places are genuine and essential in order to have, dare I say it, vibrant suburbs.

Friendly staff, good food, but the interior ruins it - Edit
I had been looking forward to giving Kafe Ingenstans a visit for quite some time, and sure enough, it did live up to its reviews praising its genuinity, friendly staff and homely atmosphere. But perhaps it's a tad bit too homely, in fact, the place looks like a mess. The cafe only has 4-5 tables available, but half of them were covered in trash and junk. One chair had a tied up trash bag on it. Tables, windows and other surfaces were dirty, and it made me concerned for the food hygiene, but what I ordered was nonetheless very delicious. If I come back, it'll be for take-away or eating outside.

Cozy café where everything they make by themselves are vegan. Some things they buy are not vegan, like beer. I've only tried their buns (vanilla and cinnamon) and they were amazing!

Me and a meat eating friend had the brunch plate and we were both really pleased. We also enjoyed the kladdkaka for dessert which was delicious. Small Bohemian homely local cafe, with boardgames to play with and photo exhibition on the walls. Have both out door and in door seats. Could answer easily about allergies, took it seriously. They don't use nuts in the food or desserts, only almonds in their cinnamon buns.

A really personal cozy family owned cafe with amazing vegan food, pastries and coffee, tea, juice, hot chocolate and non-alcoholic beverages. Nice events like board games evenings, intimate concerts, art shows and other wonderful events. Really worth a visit!

A pleasant, unpretentious local café situated in a nice suburb just outside the city. The staff are super friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is laid-back. I had a cinnamon bun which was delicious. I can't wait to try the British-style brunch that they serve on weekends! They also have board game evenings and other events.
