Turkish
A vegetarian, arty cafe in an historic multi-cultural quarter of old Istanbul (Fener & Balat). The main inspiration is southern Turkey cuisine, so get prepared for spicy, juicy, high-
protein food. Also has a large amount of tea and coffee options. Please be aware that there are lazy cats (and old books) all over the place. Prices are mid-range for locals, but should be okay for euro/dollar payers. The owner knows the vegan menu items and her English is good. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-9:00pm.

Go for the atmosphere! - Edit
Beautiful place with a style! All is vintage and feels like a time machine. But a very well considerate one.
Read moreI would rather recommend going there for a cup of coffee and not food.
Vegan food is OK, don't expect too much. I had the Mediterranean plate, which has all the vegan menu in it.
Pros: The letter from Kafka , The toilet door! , Lovely cats
Cons: Food is OK

Good enough option - Edit
Not many vegan options but it’s good enough if the local vegan restaurants are closed. The food we had was tasty but it would’ve been nice to have had more otptions

Not to be missed! - Edit
Cute and cozy place, lots of playful cats walking around. Colourful, peaceful and absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly, they all speak English, as far as I understand, two of them even speak German. Had a wonderful plate of stuffed peppers, stuffed aubergines, bulgur "meatballs" and sarma in vine leaves. Lovely tahini cookies. The muhammara was so devine! Thank you!

Cool Location, Food not good - Edit
The look of the café is quite cool and unique, but there are only three vegan options (stuffed peppers, stuffed eggplant, and meatballs). I had the peppers and the portion was very small, the bulgur filling was very dry and still cold in the middle. They tasted like they were frozen and reheated or from the day before..

Super cute place! - Edit
This place is actually one of the weirdest cafè, but in the best way. The girl we talked with spoke really good English and she helped us find the vegan options available...we tried the leaf wraps and I really like them! There are also cute cats hanging around, which is a huge plus for me.
