first class veggie restaurant, with plenty of vegan options - Edit
Delicious - the ginger miso soup with noodles is the best I've had. I've eaten there every day I've been in town on a business trip, and had the miso soup every day! And tried a good few other items too. They have an asparagus and exotic mushroom entree accompanied by an excellent saffron-flavored chick pea puree. I'm very satisfied, will make it a point to visit whenever I'm in Milwaukee or thereabouts.

pretty good - Edit
I've been here 4 times so in total I've tried their raw nachos (yum!) , Shepard's pie special (decent) curry special (mediocre), raw Thai rolls (inside was delish don't recommend raw collars greens), miso soup (meh), and bahn mi (good). This place has loads of options, and is a little pricey. My only true complain is that I personally hate the atmosphere, it's trying far to hard to be fine dining but just doesn't have it right.

this is a wonderful stop for tasty food, great atmosphere and wonderful staff! - Edit
My husband and I eat here at least every few weeks, and could not be happier with the food, ambiance and wonderful staff. They take excellent care of all the customers and are masters with plant-based meals. I highly recommend it if you are in the Milwaukee area :)

Outstanding Restaurant -- From a Spoiled Californian - Edit
This restaurant is outstanding! I had dishes unlike anything I had tried before, and all was perfect.
Read moreThere was a cauliflower dish with soba noodles that was so unexpected. It had a bit of a Japanese flare. The cauliflower was deep fried and coated in a delicate salty sauce. There was edamame, carrots, and the surprise of a specially prepared celery. I know, celery -- but when I bit into it there was a crunch and delicate flavor almost like a snap pea. I don't know how they did it! It was in a delicious coconut based sauce.
The vegan chocolate ganache cake was outstanding -- almost tasted like a buttercream. The fresh berries were perfectly ripe and sweet. You could tell they picked out the best ones, without any sourness. In February, that was quite a feat.
The service was great. The coffee with almond milk very good.
They aren't cheap, but they rival any high-end veg restaurant in San Francisco. And it's in Brookfield! Highly recommended!
Pros: expertly prepared, very flavorful, beautifully designed with exotic wood floors

Cafe Manna made me feel right at home - Edit
Outstanding food with a huge variety on the menu. I'm vegan and raw, and I brought a friend who is vegetarian. There was ample choices for both of us.
Read moreI was in Milwaukee for a conference, and pretty hungry by the time I got there. I brought enough take home to last me on the flight the next day. It was the best food that I've ever had traveling away from home.
Staff was gracious, and recommended some excellent choices from the menu. Service was prompt, meals were generous and flavorful, atmosphere was warm and inviting.

One of my favorites! - Edit
I have been to Café Manna several times and have never been disappointed. I have never had trouble getting a table. The hummus and pita chips they bring you at the beginning are yummy. They have a page of specials as well as a set menu. Raw, vegan, and gluten free options are always labeled.

Great Food - Always a Pleasure - Edit
I am always amazed at the options available to me as a vegan when I view the menu. It actually takes me awhile to decide. I love how items are marked for me, so I don't have to ask about ingredients. I am willing to pay more for organic and locally-sourced food. I also appreciate the environmentally-friendly atmosphere and to-go containers. No guilt in coming to this place.

Good food, nice atmosphere! - Edit
I are here yesterday and was very happy. They bring out some hummas and chips as a free appetizer and that was a pleasant surprise. I had a dish off the specials menu and it was good, the tempeh was a little bland but I mentioned it and they bought me a drink to make up for it. Although it's a bit pricey I would definitely suggest this place. I am excited to go back and try some other dishes! And you can't beat an all vegetarian restaurant.

Man, Manna's delicious - Edit
-Extremely nice, very thorough, and well-informed waitress.
Read more-Liked being able to sample the Limonade. Was delicious.
-My partner and I shared the Tu-No Melt and the Veggie Stack (special).
-The Veggie Stack was very good, but I would try other things next time. Was similar to a potato pancake. I liked the vegetables between the main layers more than the layers themselves.
-The Tu-No melt, however, was simply to-die-for. I have missed eating Tuna, and this was a fantastic alternative. The tempeh was not as I anticipated. (I thought it would be a kind of patty, like when you buy tempeh in the store.) It was instead an excellent mixture,. more like separate seeds/beans type texture mixed in with everything else. The celery was not too strong, and neither was the dill. The bread was perfectly crunchy.
-The Tu-No melt was accompanied by a fruit salad, which was arguably the best fruit salad I've ever had. (Tons of fresh crushed raspberry over apples and blueberries.)
-It was a bit more pricy than we expected, but well worth it.
-Admittedly a strange thing to mention in a review, but was maybe one of the nicest bathrooms ever encountered in a restaurant. The women's restroom had all kids of toiletries including scope, feminine products, etc. It just goes to show how this restaurant has made a conscious effort to do many things right and not cut corners.
Pros: Excellent, high quality food, Excellent waitress, Excellent experience overall
Cons: A bit too expensive (but still worth it)

Absolutely great restaurant! - Edit
This is a GREAT restaurant! This is the second time I have eaten here and I'm so glad I returned. I can now say it is consistently wonderful! During this visit we ordered the Pepita Guacamole Potato Skins and Tu-No Melt. Both dishes were of a very high quality and full of flavor. (They also make a great cup of coffee!) This restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

Make reservations - Edit
We went on a Saturday night and they said we needed reservations. So they had an 8pm opening and we came back in two hours. The place was lovely... food was well presented and very good. Had some original food dishes. They pride themselves on thier green building. The bathroom was nice with complimentary toiletries, Yet they have products that do animal testing and are not organic. I hope that they change that cause otherwise it was just perfect.

Healthy and Fresh! - Edit
The GREEN Juice makes you feel like you are getting healthier while you drink it! All of the items are very creative and inviting. Can't wait to try them all... but then they will have to expand the menu. Very green atmosphere with bamboo sustainable flooring, gorgeous lighting and even environmentally friendly PAINT on the walls. Beautiful giant paintings of veggies adorn the walls. The owner is very friendly and welcomes questions or comments. I am very glad to see them doing well, it is nice to have another vegetarian only restaurant in the area!
