Only all vegan restaurant in Marietta - Edit
Ordered the soul in a bowl and spicy fried "chicken" tacos. Both were sooo amazing! Chefs and staff both very interactive with us and friendly. Glad we stumbled upon this place. Will come by again soon!

You get what you pay for..and sometimes you don’t even get that - Edit
This place is a great example of why people think vegan restaurants are terrible. We ordered “Fried Chicken Tacos”, we received not fried, cauliflower tacos. With all the great meat replacement options now, why would you advertise it that way and not use one of those? You could have easily advertised it as “buffalo Cauliflower”. We also ordered a kale wrap which had rice, black beans from a can, corn from a can, and “cilantro rice”..with no cilantro. No other condiments. The food was super uninspiring, and bland. It feels like they either have a very limited budget or someone who is making food for children creating their menu.

Amazing food for vegans and non vegans - Edit
I went to the soft opening and Cafe Life is amazing. The ladies that run the restaurant are so nice and funny and always have a smile! The chef is very talented at what he does and personally comes out to give you the food. He is really cool and dedicated to his art. My parents who are hard-core meat eaters went with me to the restaurant and they really enjoyed it. Cafe Life does an exceptional job at showing how vegan food is far from boring! I got the Jamaican Jerk Tempeh wrap and my parents got the Fried “Chicken” Salad, and Grilled Asparagus & Shiitake Mushroom Taco, and we all shared the Mac-n-Cheese. Soo good!! This is not your stereotypical hippy dippy vegan restaurant. They have vegan pulled pork sandwiches, Mac-n-cheese (highly recommend, my parents really enjoyed it. Tastes like actual mac-n-cheese), homemade vegan chicken, smoothies, sandwiches, wraps, you name it. And those of you who are raw, gluten free, or oil free (as I am), there are tons of options for you too. Really a great place! 5 Stars!

Best vegan tacos and soup - Edit
I eat here all the time. They are under new man, and the new menu is better. They have the best vegan tacos in Atlanta! I typically order the avocado l, but all are great! Also recommended the tomato soup.

I always really liked this place, a little hidden gems that not many people know about, so they’ve been closed for a while, why I don’t know but I’ve been dying for them to open back up. So long story short I order their kale wrap with collard, for the gluten free option and the avocado tacos. I was very excited as there menu had changed and they had been closed for a while but should of known. The quality of the food was very disappointing. The presentation was ok. The avocado taco were really bland not a lot of flavor. The kale wrap had more rice than anything, the collards my food was wrapped in looked like it had been sitten out for a couple days. Just very disappointed because before they had closed this was one of my favorite spots for vegan food.

Amazing Chickpea Stew - Edit
Wandered in today without ever having heard of this place. It was a cold and dreary day outside. I am so glad I decided to try the chickpea stew. It was phenomenal to say the least. When I got home I picked up the phone and called to tell them how much I enjoyed it. It was that good. I can’t wait to go back.

Really bad quality. We got the raw taco salad that was basically a side salad. The black bean burger was way undercooked and just pure mush. They didn’t have sweet potatoes nor did they have enough sweet potato fries and the fries they did bring out we’re very old soggy, cold, burnt on the tips and had no seasoning. They gave us a side of bbq tofu instead of anything sweet potato and the bbq tofu was literally just tofu with bbq on it. The cornbread had zero flavor and seemed like it was just corn meal and water and just completely crumbled. Service was non existent as in there is just a button to summon someone so there was no one to say anything to. Gives food let along vegan food a BAD name! Such a shame! Also, the place was so dirty.

I ordered the soul food plate and it was very tasty. The mac n' cheeze was flavorful and the cornbread was amazing. I've also tried some of the raw selections in the past. The raw taco salad is one of my favorites.

This restaurant was a hidden gem. I had no idea there was a vegan restaurant so close to my work. I loved that I could go into the restaurant and order right off the menu without modifying. This was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be dining again at their restaurant.

The café is meager, but they do have some really delicious meals. They have a lot of raw food offerings, which is extremely rare for the area. The prices can be a bit expensive, but raw food usually is. They also have non-raw food options.

My husband and I got the Avocado Melt, Green Lentil Soup, and a carrot ginger apple juice. All of it was tasty, but it didn't have the "wow" factor. Really clean place and workers were nice. Service was a little slow for take out.

Read moreI visited the co-op for the first time this past weekend and I was very impressed with the food! It's rare that I travel OTP for food, but I will definitely be back to Cafe Life. The grocery side has tons of vegan items (things that cannot be found at Whole Foods). Also, they were sampling tons of desserts while I was there.

Wow! What a hidden gem! The food was amazing and I can't wait to go again! Spicy Mac and Cheese is one of the best vegan versions I have ever had! One of my childhood favorites growing up, glad to have such a great vegan version!

I believe everything on the menu is now vegan, but check because I have seen the cooks change periodically. Nice cafe for a quick, reliable vegan eat. The store next door (Life Grocery) sells several of the cafe's foods in convenient grab and go format. The blonde burger is delicious. The raw nachos were good but could use more toppings. Soups are reliably tasty. Daily rotating specials. Small menu but also juices and smoothies. Menu is divided into raw and cooked options. Restaurant is clean but not overly comfy or cozy. Good for a quick bite. Moderate priced.

Almost everyone I know at Life University loves Life Cafe so I had to check it out. The food was good and the dessert was even better!
