Great food, everything we tried was lovely, fresh, wholesome and at a decent price. Haggis nachos were great and the cheesecake was fab. Marvelous little vegan eatery not to be missed while in Elgin.

THE best lasagne - Edit
Cosy cafe with lots of tasty options. I had lasagne with potato salad and a coconut milk latte, both superb. Such a treat to come somewhere which is 100% vegan.

Our Go-To Cafe - Edit
This is my favourite place to eat in Elgin. Everything is vegan so you get a whole menu to choose from, the food is always amazing and totally different from what you'd normally get as The Vegan Option. Haggis pizza, pakora burgers, glorious Buddha bowls! The café is so cosy, and the owner and staff are wonderful.

The venue is cute and eclectic, very charming, if a bit small.
Read moreService was outstanding, very friendly, knocked off a few quid because I had to wait a short while for my Pakora Burger but the wait didn't really feel very long to me.
The food was very good, fresh hot and delicious. The pepperoni pizza is delicious and actually spicy and piquant. The pakora burger is delicious, a touch heavy but fresh and crispy with a sharp sweet mango sauce to cut through it.
The on tap kombucha was delicious and refreshing, tasted very natural with good flavours of ginger, and mint, tasted like the advertised flavour with no hint of anything artificial.
Would highly recommend this cafe to anyone, but at the moment you should call ahead due to the virus times.
Also the door-dog is very attentive to his duties!

We went here after we found it on the happy cow app. We were delighted that they were open as so many places have reduced opening hours or are closed altogether. We had 3 pizzas, a munch box, doughnuts, drinks and pick-a-mix!

Lovely wee place with a great selection of salads, toasties, dhal and cakes. The pakora burgers are delicious and huge, and the cheesecake is awesome. It can get busy at lunchtime so might be worth booking a table in advance. Prices are reasonable and staff are lovely.

My parents (non-vegan) took me here for lunch while I was up visiting for the weekend. It's a great little cafe, we all had paninis which were delicious. Food and service were both great, staff were lovely. Also got cakes to take away 🥧 loads of nice options, can't wait to go back

I've been following Café Kombucha for a few months whilst living overseas, knowing I would be returning home in the near future. Well I got the opportunity to visit for the first time today and it was outstanding! Lovely wee place - so much effort has gone into the surroundings and the food was sublime! We had the pakora burgers and they were huge! I've never seen such a big pakora. Thoroughly looking forward to going back on a regular basis and working my way through the menu. It's great to have an entirely vegan café - knowing the staff know what they are doing and that you are surrounded by like-minded people is great. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep!

I friend of mine shared a post on fb and I became very enthusiastic to check it out! So last time when I visit Scotland we went together for lunch. I had a very delicious BIG vegan burger. It feels so good when you can choose everything on the menu because it’s vegan. No need to worry about what’s inside the dish.

I enjoyed every bit of my visit to Cafe Kombucha back in december. From the quirky interior details (with emphasis on the details - the vintage door handle that is acting flush button for the toilet was a personal favourite! Came out of the restroom with the biggest grin), the generous portions and the welcoming atmosphere.

Truly Scrumptious Food - Edit
Not being a vegan I am very impressed with the ambience and the catering in Cafe Kombucha. The staff go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy whatever you are having, be it coffee and cake or a meal. On the three occassions I have visited, I can honestly say it was a lovely experience and the food is truly scrumptious. Well worth a visit and many return ones.
