Waiuku? Where’s that

Having found that the nearest HC cafe listing is 16km away I thought I’d try my luck. I liked the look of this place and was warmly welcomed when I entered. I asked the standard “what’ve got got that’s vegan” expecting a blank look and then offers of gluten-free toast and water. Spoiler alert: there are a few vegetarian options on the menu but I couldn’t see anything both substantial and vegan. However they were very happy to make me a vegan breakfast to my specification. This arrived quickly and was nicely presented.

I’m aware that this place may not meet the usual requirements for a HC listing but since there’s nothing else around I’d rather see it than not.

Pros: Helpful, Nice environment , Best option for miles

Cons: Sparse vegan pickings
