Getting better all the time - Edit
Other than the all vegan Bakery Bakery across town, this is the best bet for a vegan friendly coffee shop. They now make all their own baked goods and about half are vegan (marked). Weekends brunch with vegan option, reservation recommended.

Wir haben nach einem entspannten Spot zum Frühstücken gesucht. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr freundlich, viele lokale Kunden sind da und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend. Es gibt auch einige vegane Optionen (vegane Sauerteigpancakes, Veganuka, rustikales Croissant, Zimtschnecken, Kuchen uvm...). Und Hafermilch als Milchalternative.

you get amazing vegan brunch, you get a whole etagere with seasonal goodies. you even get extra bread with no extra charge, i think if you would asked you could even get more of everything. the price is at about 30.- also really okay as you get quite a lot of food and its enough for two people. highly recommend!

Awesome vegan breakfast with étagère!! - Edit
Awesome cafe with many different vegan options (vegan milk, but also about 30% of the menu, including pancakes). We ordered the vegan breakfast to share that came with many different spreads and smoked carrot salmon. 10/10 would go again!

Nice Vegan Treats - Edit
I’ve been told that they have an excellent vegan pita, but sadly when I went the lunch menu was not available! Nonetheless, it’s a very pleasant cafe with some really very good vegan baked goods, all clearly labeled. I would particularly recommend the apple muffin!

Significantly improved: More choices, well marked - Edit
Since the last review they have improved quite a bit. There's now permanently a warm and cold sandwich, fruit pies, a brownie and often daily specials. All of them well marked by "VG" in the menu.

Best coffee in Basel, some vegan choices - Edit
If you fancy a coffee in Basel, this is the place you should go to. They have really good filter coffee and their espresso is very decent also. If that is your thing, they offer plant milk choices for coffees.
