Yum

We 'happy cowed' when we were visiting Newark Castle. The app led us to this lovely place. Nice soup and cake. Left very full! Will be back at some point to explore Newark and will be sampling more from the menu.

Pros: Vegan very friendly!, Good price, Nice owner

Vegan brownies

Small friendly little veggie café. Always has something vegan on the ever changing menu. Everything I have tried so far has been very tasty and good value for money. Mild chickpea curry, aubergine pasta and other Mediterranean/middle eastern style delights. Lunchtime food is fresh and made on site but is generally heated in a microwave. To be fair, if it wasn't for the tell tale "bing" I would never have guessed. The food isn't mega healthy and can be a little oily. Don't mean to be to critical, Café Feast is my first choice for eating out in Newark. The owner also puts on themed evenings serving Spanish, Indian etc treats. Oh yes, don't forget the warmed vegan brownies.
