Serves meat, vegan options available. American-style fare with separate vegan menu on request. Reserve ahead to ensure seating. Open Mon-Sun 5:30pm-10:00pm.
Delicious and different flavors. I had the coconut curry which was mostly mushrooms (which I normally don’t like) but it was delicious. And the coconut curry sauce was much different than the average sauce you get at most places (which I also like). Had a great appetizer as well, of beets and pomegranate seeds on a toasted bread with cauliflower hummus-like spread and yummy greens/herbs.
But I have to mention this: besides the very high prices ($65 for my partners venison, glasses of red wine STARTING at $19) and the appropriately huge tip, they charge a 3% surcharge for their kitchen staff. This really irritates me. Why can’t they pay their own staff enough without charging me even more? Maybe they should use local venison instead of importing it from New Zealand? They give you the option of opting out, but then what? You have people preparing your food who are mad at you, and want to get even? I HATE THIS!! That’s the reason for not giving it 5 stars.
The best fine dining for vegan / veg in Steamboat. - Edit
We had a great date night dinner at Cafe Diva. There are not a lot of Vegan/Veg restaurant options in this town, but Cafe Diva is the best. Impeccable service and food and drinks.
Fine dining with not insane prices. They have a seasonal limited vegan menu. If the menu sounds good to you, go as the food is outstanding.
I really liked the poke bowl, like I'll be dreaming about it in the future
We had another dish with mushrooms, butternut squash and rice that was prepared impeccably, but I did not love the squash. That's a me thing, not a them thing.
Clearly marked vegan menu. The listed options are limited but so good. Possibly the best vegan food we’ve ever eaten? Menu changes seasonally. Cafe Diva is the best fine dining vegan experience in steamboat. Make sure to make a reservation!
Cafe Diva does not disappoint! A very upscale restaurant with quality food and excellent service. There are multiple vegan options! They actually have a vegan menu, but you need to request it. If you have the opportunity and the means to go, I highly suggest going. [This should be a 3 $ restaurant. I believe it is one of the most expensive restaurants in Steamboat!]

Pros: Delicious food and cocktails, Many choices and different flavors, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Very expensive, Not getting my drink forever because he’s too busy, Surcharge for kitchen staff. 3% of that is a lot

I loved how the tea came out on a cute tea plate with a separate dish for your wet tea bag, rock sugar and a lemon wedge.
Complimentary bread and Olives were delicious.
The vegan poke bowl was superb really nice flavours and presentation.
The butternut squash entrée was delectable. Loved all the mushrooms and the gravy.
Fresh mango sorbet for dessert was delish.
