Quite a few options - Edit
A number of options here, including in the cake display. Food is quite tasty, lunch options seem better than breakfast.

Great vegan options - Edit
Reasonably priced with quite a few vegan options on the menu. Tried the vegan burger and the vegan energy bowl - vegan burger patty wasn’t amazing but the vegan energy bowl was yum with tofu, chickpeas, rice, sweet potato, greens and a delicious green/avocado dressing.

Wasn't very impressed - Edit
Spent quite some time googling where to get vegan food in Toowoomba and r&d seemed like the best bet.
Read moreThe menu just says things like 'vegan burger' without specifying exactly what is in it. When I went up to ask the waiter what the vegan patty was made of, he was said 'oh yeah don't worry we don't put beef or chicken in it' . Ummm ok, i should hope not! Not quite what I was asking... So I said, 'is it like lentils or veggies or something?' and he just replied 'yeah... Lentils... Veggies... Flour'. Right okkkk.... Risked it anyway... Said it came with cashew cheese, didn't see evidence of that. The patty itself was pretty much just seeds and had zero flavour. With the tomato salsa and eggplant it redeemed itself a bit but overall I was very disappointed. The bun was a massive block of bread that i didn't/couldn't eat. I washed it down with a very mediocre coffee... And I really don't consider myself to be fussy with coffee.
Overall really disappointing experience.
Pros: A few vegan options , Cafe kinda quirky inside
Cons: Waiters dont know what's in food, Quite bland flavours, Coffee not great

Yummy vegan options - Edit
We popped in for brekkie and were not disappointed! We had the vegan stack and the corn fritter stack and both were really good. Big portions and full of great flavours. Great spot for food in Toowoomba.

Food needs work - Edit
Large cafe and juice bar with separate vegan menu. Had the vegan bennie for breakfast and was excited by the description but what came out was really disappointing. The ‘hollandaise’ was a grainy puréed tofu, I think, with no real flavour. The eggplant bacon was just lightly pan fried eggplant. The toast was cut into a very thin sliver and the gluten free toast was REALLY salty!! And everything just had a really overpowering flavor of coconut oil. I was really hungry so I ate it but otherwise I wouldn’t have. There are some tricks to vegan cookery and if the kitchen here could just learn a few, they would be onto something. Some black salt and liquid smoke would be a great start. Portion sizes and prices were good, and the coffee was really nice. I hope these guys continue to develop their vegan prowess in the kitchen because toowoomba needs them to! And please consider using olive oil or at least a lot less coconut oil to manage that overpowering flavor.

great cafe and health food store - Edit
Homegrown Health is a health food shop and cafe offering an excellent range of vegan food options ... located in the CBD near the railway station it will now be one of my go to eating places in Toowoomba ... the staff are welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive ... the cafe has an extensive vegan menu (arguably the best in Toowoomba) so there is something for everyone and even omni’s would be tempted ... I had a delicious cashew, respberry and lime açai bowl ($14.95) and was pleasantly surprised with both the quality and quantity of the food ... Homegrown Health has a great vibe, offers free fast wifi and eftpos payments
