Everything is expensive here. Way more than in every bar of place I went to. Music was loud. Crew was not helpfull. Decided to have lunch somewhere else. Big dissapointment. Menu only to vieuw via telephone. Food outside was served on disposables and that made it look cheap

Read moreI have been going to Cafe De Paris for Gelato and coffee for a few months now . The waiters have been accomodating and nice Till now . I arrived at the Cafe with my father and a friend. There was a table in front of the Gelato counter with 4 chairs . We seated ourselves there . I met one of the old servers who always served me . We were talking and he was taking our order .
Right then the Manager came and started shouting at us Loudly . We didn't know what was happening. It was more like he was Shooing us of with both his hands like Dogs . His hand gesture was to get up and get out.The waiter was shocked . Luckily my friend was Hungarian, so he started arguing and then suddenly the manager calmed down as my friend started speaking in Hungarian to him . Then the Manager said in English that you can't put a table in front of Gelato counter . But we didn't put the table and chair there . It was already there placed by the Cafe .Their waiters were taking our order.
The waiter apologetically took us to another table and offered to give us free drinks . But we were humiliated and shouted at . It was unbelievable. The whole square had stopped to see what was happening.
For all the Tourists. Never go there .
To the Management and Owners of CAFE De Paris. Please FIRE this RACIST ,Ruthless, Mannerless Manager .

Good but expensive - Edit
It has only a few vegan dishes and some others that can be veganish. But overall is a bit expensive for what you get considering that you are in Budapest! The restaurant has a good vibe and the decor is nice. The price for the service is just ridiculous!
