The cafe isn't as great as it use to be.

This café used to be very vegan-friendly, offering a variety of vegan savory dishes and sweets. However, when we visited for lunch recently, we found only one vegan option (mushroom on toast, £15) and no vegan sweets or cakes available. While the coffee was excellent, it's disappointing to see the decline in vegan options and overall customer service. I understand it's a small family run business, but unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning.

Pros: Lovely area

Cons: Long wait times, Minimal vegan options

Gorgeous cafe, amazing food and staff

I visited with my omni husband prior to our dog walk at Rivington Pike. Absolutely love this cosy, quirky cafe. The staff were real amazing and there were so many nice touches throughout.

I had the wild mushrooms dish that was served with rustic bread, vegan feta cheese and loads of garnish. The nettle tea was lovely too.

We’ll definitely be going back

Lovely place, tad expensive!

Visited here after a walk to the pike, after a recommendation from a friend.

It is a beautiful venue, with outside seating which was perfect for the weather that day! Inside seating tends to require a booking as it was quite busy!

We visited for coffee and cake. The milk options were oat, coconut or almond. My partner prefers soya and so was a little disappointed they didn't have it. But oat is good for me!

The counter has a display of beautiful cakes, the vegan options were Biscoff, Lemon and Blueberry or (I think) Cherry Bakewell. It was a difficult decision between Biscoff or Lemon but I went for the lemon and it was delicious (as I'm sure the Biscoff would have been too, maybe next time!)

They do have vegan breakfast, brunch and lunch options but wasn't eating this time! Although the options sound tempting, they were also quite pricey.

Overall it did cost over £10 for one coffee (with Oat milk and Caramel syrup) plus a piece of cake, which is also a little on the expensive side but a nice experience overall.

Multiple Vegan cake options

Great vegan options, both savoury and sweet. They have three different plant milk options and herbal teas. Overall a lovely peaceful place for cake and a cuppa ☺️

Pros: Cakes are amazing , Good location , Dog friendly

A must visit

I went for lunch with a friend and had the best strawberry salad with caramelised pecans and vegan feta. It came with bread and buttery new potatoes. I adored it. The presentation is beautiful too. There were ample vegan options on the menu. I followed it up with vg lotus biscoff cake which was the best sponge I’ve ever had! Whenever I meet friends for lunch- this is now where I’ll go.

Pros: Ample vegan options , Beautiful presentation , Incredible cake
