An affordable fully vegan and fully gluten free restaurant. Everything is house-made from scratch. Is also a space for events. Karaage, pancakes, omricu, yakisoba. Open Wed-Sat 11:00am-4:30pm. Closed Sun-Tue. Last order 4:00 pm. Special opening hours apart from regular days: closed on every 9th, 16th and 20th of a month. Check website

A hidden gem (but easy to reach from Fukuyama station) - Edit
I really liked the store's vibe, even though there is a bit of esoteric stuff lying around (which you often encounter in "healthy" cafés in Japan).
Read moreAt this café I could finally eat Omu Raisu for the first time! It was delicious, fluffy and made me very happy as I always wanted to try out this Japanese childhood comfort food.
The menu is short and entirely in Japanese but it comes with photos for the non-drink items, so you can point at what you want. (Only the pancakes with matcha ice cream did not have a picture yet.)
I think everything in the menu was gluten free (the yaki soba definitley was) as the owner herself is not vegan but celiac which is why she opted to open a place that caters to both food-minorities at once.
If in doubt ask her ("Goorooten fooree desu ka?").
The owner was super friendly, the store was kind of intimate without feeling crowded and the toilet was unisex and clean. And I liked reading the vegan propaganda manga with the pig on the cover. Easy read even with limited kanji knowledge due to many many furigana and easy story. Also we were able to pay by credit card.
How to get there:
Take the bus from Fukuyama station middle bus station (4?) in the direction of Oroshimachi.
Get off at "kawaguchi" (川口) then walk 3 min. (Please note: You need to look for plain "kawaguchi" not one of the stations before that are "kawaguchi something something".)

All vegan and glutenfree place in fukuyama - Edit
Food is affordable and it is prepared from scretch. We had the yakisoba and the omricu, and the pancakes. All good, but not too fancy, but it is vegan and glutenfree all along. The pancakes were tasty, but I gave the matcha Ice cream to my partner, who found it delicious!
