Veggie / Vegan Haven

Cafe 21 is a relatively unknown, hidden away veggie-vegan haven at Lancaster Uni. It serves a good array of almost exclusively veggie-vegan savoury food with 1-2 fish dishes. It's quite a substantial menu which changes regularly. Staff can make occasional slips with vegan food such as adding a sprinkle of cheese to a vegan dish, probably because it's run by a large organisation rather than staff with a passion for ethics.

The view is amazing and worth the visit alone, particularly on a summer's day when you can sit outside on the 4th floor terrace.

Shame it's not open in the evening!

Pros: Best view in Lancaster, Wide vegan selection, that something like this exists at a uni

Cons: Unknowledgeable non veggie/vegan staff, Lack of vegan desserts
