My favorite lunch - Edit
I frequently get bowls here for lunch with my colleagues and we all love it. I highly recommend the forbidden jungle bowl and the lemongrass tofu noodle bowl! They have reusable Vytal boxes to take to go which I find very convenient. My only complaint: I wish there was a cheaper lunch menu as many restaurants in the area have.

Tasty vegan options - Edit
I came here for lunch with a friend and I was positively surprised by the many vegan options. We tried the sushi and the dumplings, everything was tasty and my non-vegan friend enjoyed the food very much. They also have fantastic looking homemade ades, which unfortunately are not vegan (yet!). Will come back again to try the bowls.

Comfortable and inviting - Edit
This turned out to be a great place for what was going to be a quick lunch but it was so comfortable there hat we ended up staying longer.
Read moreIt was quite warm inside but the temperature outside was around 30° so that wasn't too surprising. We sat at a lovely outdoor table and the waiter came and cleaned it for us before we sat down.
The others in our group of 4 ordered some sushi, dumplings and rice rolls which they really enjoyed along with their wine. I opted for the vegan spinach dumplings, edamame beans (they left of the salt so my toddler could enjoy them) and the no fish bowl. All the food was incredibly tasty and the bowl felt very healthy and the fish alternative had an amazing texture, like smoked salmon. Apparently it's made from tapioca starch. My only complaint is that I thought my dish was meant to be spicy and it wasn't, that being said I would still order it again. My lemongrass tea topped off a delightful lunch.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
There is a toilet which is fairly spacious and clean.

Both the bowl and the curry tasted very good.The spring rolls were alrightas well. Unfortunately one meal was served 20 minutes prior to the second one which made the experience less good.

I had a few hours to kill while waiting for my connecting train and could use a filling lunch. Walking along Dachauer Straße I passed many restaurants with various cuisines. None of them looked very suitable for my endeavor – until I came across byvu. The interior of the restaurant was open and spacious with large windows, which made it a pleasant place to spend some time at.
Read moreThe menu had plenty of options without being overwhelming. I had a Kimchi Lover as a starter and Vegan Pho as a main. Both were very close to how I remember what I had in Korea and Vietnam, respectively, in both flavor and aesthetics. Finally, I had a Vietnamese Coffee, which also close resembled my memory of what I had in Vietnam, including the condensed milk.
The whole experience was made very convenient by the fact that the staff at the counter/waiter spoke excellent English.
Pros: Food was great, Staff spoke excellent English, Open, modern interior
