Don’t believe the hype - really terrible! - Edit
I’m not one to usually post a review unless it’s a positive one but I would hate for anyone else to loose money like we did.
Read moreWe booked for afternoon tea over a month in advance but had to wait over 1h30mins to be served. When we finally got served part of the afternoon tea was missing and we had to keep getting up to find the waiter to ask for a single cup of tea each. A truly awful experience - and a massive waste of money. The restaurant wasn’t even a quarter full so I don’t know how this can be explained?
Tea was supposed to be bottomless but getting hold of the dawdling waitor was too hard to ask for another. And we never received the full order despite paying £80 in total for four people. I would have liked to argue the bill but I books through ‘Book a table’ so they had my card details.
I also thought it was weird that afternoon tea was served on a wonky/broken cake stand and that we had to use plastic cutlery, paper plates and the tea was served in take away coffee cups?! Weird.
There are much nicer places available for a similar price - this place was so awful I wouldn’t recommend at all.
I’ve tried contacting the restaurant by email, phone and social media a number of times to see if they would like to know about the terrible experience we had but it seems they don’t care / don’t want to reply to me.
They should sort out their current restaurants before opening more crappy ones like this.
Don’t believe the false advertising on their social media - this place should be shut down soon.
Pros: None, Not one, Not even one
Cons: Had to wait 1h30 even though we booked , Didn’t revive full order even though we paid , Staff were really bad at their jobs

4 stars - Edit
My husband and I both had a small mac and cheese, which really was small but did fill us up enough as we had a drink and a cookie each too. Loved the food but the wait was quite long and then our order was missing one of the mac and cheeses! They did rectify this quite quickly. Overall it was expensive, on the slow side for a fast food place but tasted great. My husband actually claims it’s the best vegan cookie he’s ever had!

Style over substance - Edit
Extremely slow service. Pancakes and Sunrise wrap both good, underwhelmed by Mac n cheese. Cupcakes dry. Atmosphere was nice, great location.

Okay - Edit
I had the spicy Thai salad, and it tasted fine, but the crispy wontons dominated the dish negatively. Very crispy and very much, eating those with a plastic (?) fork was annoying.

Pros: Several different kind of mains
Cons: No real dessert was available, pancakes were out, sticky toffee pudding was out

Overpriced - Edit
I asked for the tofish (vegan fish and chips). I like tofu but i was expecting more flavour, it seems it was not marinated, the portion was small compared with the potatoes. However, the chips were so good and also the tartara sauce.

just a fast food - Edit
Average fast food with the look of a cafe. Expensive and bland taste. Just a fast food. I could not check ingredients for burger patty. Cooks should improve taste and menu.

Overpriced - Edit
There is a good range of food and it looks good, however the food itself is pretty bland. The tofish was just a piece of tofu with no flavour. The macaroni cheese was nice once I added chipotle.

Delicious, but small portions - Edit
All the food I’ve had from here is amazing, especially the tofish and the mac n cheese, but the portions (especially of the mac n cheese) are quite small. Great selection of baked goods as well, and I would recommend to anyone wanting vegan fast food.

Good fast food - Edit
I like that you can get fast food in a completely vegan restaurant. The full vegan breakfast tasted really good and was not too fatty.
Read moreWhat I did not like too much was that they only have plastic cutlery which is bad for the environment and you can hardly cut you dish with a plastic knive...
Second thing is that it was really cold in the seating area.
Cons: Not sustainable eat in options (lots of plastic)

Good food, terrible service - Edit
Food was really good. Had the fish n chips mac n cheese. Both delicious. Service was absolutely terrible though. Took 40 minutes for the fish to arrive but they forgot the tartare for my partner's fish. When asked they said they'd bring it out with the mac n cheese but that took another 10 minutes. Would definitely not call it 'fast' food.

Not best I've had but not bad - Edit
Overall was OK but would try somewhere else next time. Had guac burger, chips, and facon mac n cheese, was quite expensive though.
Read moreThe burger was OK but nothing special it didn't have much of a bite to it and was quite cold when I got it, though I did order it via deliveroo. The toppings and bub were decent.
Chips were pretty standard, quite a small portion for the price, the packet wasn't anywhere near full.
The mac and cheese was quite good, though it wasn't macaroni it was conchiglie! Not a lot of sauce but they were coated and tasted cheesy. The mushroom bacon was really nice and tasted like well done streaky bacon!

Pros: All vegan so easy to choose!, The mac and cheese bad., On deliveroo so got it brought to office.
Cons: Wasnt anything special food wise., Was cold when arrived., Quite expensive.

Good location disappointing quality - Edit
After our week our week long trip to Paris/London area we settled on visiting By Choles which we had been to before. New York’s version was amazing and yummy which we though would happen again. The food was ok which is not good for the price we payed. The burger and fries were filled with grease and didn’t come with the right toppings. Although we understand some businesses struggle unlike the others and we still support this brand. Overall we would consider giving this another chance is some things get fixed.

Great potential - Edit
Traveling to London, this was one of my top choices to check out. We had the Taco Bowl, The classic Burger, MAC n Cheese and the Pesto. All in all the meal was good. The MAC was very good as was the taco Bowl. Everything else was good but not great, with the Pesto just being bland.

Disco lights, lava lamps, golden streamers, CBD cookies, roaming puppies - this place was much better than the covent garden branch. Although just as expensive, i felt less rushed here and the experience made the money worth it.

Basically just like a nicely done out McDonalds selling lots of fried food. Perfectly edible if you like that sort of thing but they did charge me nearly £9 for a very small portion of to-fish and chips.

Delicious but expensive - Edit
This place is lovely and the food is great but it is just a bit too expensive - burger is £9 and fries are £4. Coffees are way more expensive than everywhere else. The views from this branch are amazing though with outdoor seating in a quiet pedestrian alleyway looking onto tower bridge!

Lots of choice! - Edit
Definitely worth a visit to this place. It’s set up as a vegan fast food dinner rather than table service restaurant, which I didn’t mind. Found the staff really friendly. I had the Mac and Cheese which was tasty especially the mushroom bacon and a lemon and poppy seed muffin. It’s not going to be the place that blows your mind but they have decent food with real choice.

Average Fast Food in a Nice Setting - Edit
This place feels more style than substance. It's lovely, a great place to sit and the food is fine but nothing special. My burger was ok but rather bland. My cupcake was tasty but the sponge was dry. My fries were fine, standard fries. The food would have been exciting a few years ago but the days of getting a vegan burger and cake being exciting in itself are thankfully past.
Read moreIt is just average fast food served somewhere that feels more cafe like. For £17 I want better
I tried ice cream from their stall latter on and it wasn't ice cream. The texture was wrong, it was too ice like, it's wasn't creamy. It was however £4.20 and a very small tub. I'd rather they weren't out by tower bridge promoting that as an example of vegan ice cream.
