Huge portion - Edit
I was a bit afraid of eating here as it's a bit pricey but when the food came out in giant portion, I knew it's worth the money. Vegan, fresh and large enough to fill my tummy. The wrap was nice with lots of bean and greens. The view of the terraced rice field is a plus point

PLEASE READ - Edit
This is a nice vegetarian restaurant, but it calls itself vegan which is frustrating. There’s few things worse for vegans to go to a restaurant and unknowingly be fed animal products, which is what happened to us. Turns out a lot of the menu items that are listed as vegan have honey in them, including any dish that has salad. We only found out after trying the salad and asking what the ingredients were because it tasted sweet (we had our suspicions because many menu items have honey).
Read moreWe’d love to chat with the owner about transitioning this place to being a vegan restaurant by simply dropping honey for coconut nectar - they’d get more business as a vegan listed restaurant on HappyCow this way and then all of their “love all animals” and “vegan for the animals” messaging would actually be aligned with their menus.
I’ll happily change my review to 5-star when the menu is fixed so that vegans know what they should avoid or when the restaurant no longer serves honey
🙏🏼❤️🌱🐝
Pros: Food is really tasty, Tax and service included in prices, Great view 🌱
Cons: Hidden honey in many dishes (salad, tiramisu), Says “vegan” all over the place, but not vegan, Non-vegan items aren’t marked.

Just had a super delicious vegan berry cheesecake. Super pricy but totally worth it. They also sell organic cosmetics for a good price compared to european standards. Smell amazing

Delicious affordable vegan food in a tranquil environment - Edit
Was glad to find this place in the midst of a tour to rice paddies - the suggestion from your guide had been a pricey restaurant with limited and unappealing vegan choices . Sat for a second then walked out - HappyCow app to the rescue and found this place

Excellent good, incredible view and location. - Edit
This is right on the main road across from the famous Tegallalang Rice Terraces, with an incredible view of them. Perfect location, nice open air seating upstairs loft style, and super clean modern aesthetic.
Read moreFood was great! It's on the pricier end for casual dining compared to ubud proper, but not extreme. 60-80k for most mains, juices are 30-40k. I think it's all veg, but mostly vegan - honey in a few deserts and drinks is all I noticed. No sign of a bird in a cage! They also have some cruelty free body care products, belts, bags etc.
We had the tofu scramble which was wonderful- good sized portion, and great flavor and presentation. Juices, smoothies, kombucha, and lemonades were all solid. And desert? I'm usually a bit critical of raw deserts- but the snickers bar and chocolate patties were absolutely amazing. Menu also includes vegan gelato, lasagna, kebabs, salads, pancakes, sandwiches, soups, coffee and more.
Super nice spot, highly recommended.

Best place - Edit
The cafe overlooking the scenic rice terrace offers extensive menu. Most of the foods are vegan, except some sweet desserts using honey. Good vibe, friendly staff, eco-conscious concept. Even the straws are from nature. It is a happy place to be vegan

Annoyed - Edit
Great location great view. Did not see a bird cage so hopefully they took that away forever. But when you walk in there are SEVERAL desserts and dishes labeled VEGAN or RAW VEGAN, yet have honey in them. The kicker? They have an ingredient list, which does not state honey. But the girl at the counter told me they use honey to make them. Also, I saw a carton of milk powder on the counter... the whole restaurant is supposed to be dairy free.😡
Read moreVery confusing, disappointing factor that I’ve been dealing with in Bali for a week now. Many things are labeled VEGAN and definitely are NOT, so always ask and be careful. i find this unacceptable as this could lead to a vegan getting sick, or someone with food allergy DYING because of their mislabeling.
Pros: Great view
Cons: Incorrect labeling

Tasty but small portions - Edit
The portions are quite small and at 80k for tofu omlette, it's quite expensive. It was tasty though, so was the vegan tiramisu, which I higly recommend (again, 60k for a very small tiramisu!). So yeah, if money is no object, come here. And take 2 tofu omlettes if you are hungry, just one won't do the trick.

Great super sweet smoothie (pink panther and green smoothie). The interior was simple and nice. I read about fish and birds here but I have not seen them.

Very ennerved vibe for me asking what is vegan - Edit
The view just in front of the rice paddies is stunning, and the presentation of the green coconut, too.thats for sure. I didn't feel too welcome for my concerns of getting non vegan food. I was asking if they use cow milk, they use honey for most of their food.

Can’t really be considered vegan/veg - Edit
I was very disappointed to see a bird in a cage at the end of the balcony, and some fish in a bowl behind the counter. This is not what I expect to see in a vegan/veg place.

Hello CallumWaddell! Thank you for visiting our vegan cafe. We are very pleased that more and more people on the planet are actively protecting nature. Our philosophy is the same, we don't use absolutely any products from our friends-animals.
Read moreThe bird BIO that you saw in our cafe lives temporarily there while its new big house is being built. Prior to this, BIO lived with Indonesian captors for about 2 years in a very small cage. We fed him every day when we brought our children on the way to school. It was very sad to see his life and we decided to redeem a captive from scoundrels. Unfortunately, it is impossible to release it, since the kidnappers stole the egg still from the nest. He cannot fly and will not survive in the wild because he was born in a cage. We are considering how to find a solution for a long time already. We hope that the new large aviary will be a great home for BIO.

Best vegetarian food - Edit
Apart from the cozy atmosphere and nice view overlooking the rice terrace, the food was beyond expectation..i would give full star for it..main course eg. Lasagna and kebab that me and my sister took was superb..the best i have tasted so far..as for the dessert, it was unique in its own way and the combination might not suit everyone's taste bud, but i personally liked it..

This place had an amazing view of the Tegallalang Rice Terraces. Food was very good. The only thing that threw me off was, there was a bird in a cage in the dining area. Not sure why a veg restraunt would have that.
