Amazing

Food great but just let staff know you are vegan or vegetarian and you will be catered for. Lots of options and ask for a table next to the window for sea views. Other reviews harsh. Highly recommended.

Vegan Chicken Wings!

I regularly visit Butler & Barry with my non-vegan husband and we both enjoy the vegan chicken wings (served with vegan mayo). YUM! They also have a Vegan Falafel Burger and Vegan Thai Green Curry. (I've tried the curry and it's delicious.) They serve Vegan Brownie (made by Buttercream Bakery) as a dessert.

I asked the staff - the chips, sweet potato fries and the fake meats are all cooked in oil separate to any meat.

The service is great - always polite and helpful.

Though there are only 3 vegan options on their menu, I would highly recommend a visit if you are dining out with vegans or non-vegans in Bray.

Note: The vegan chicken burger is no longer on the menu and has been replaced by the vegan falafel burger.

Only if you're stuck

We decided to go here after reading some favourable reviews on Trip Advisor. It was far from the freshest or the most appetising vegan food we've ever had: 2 of the 3 vegan dishes on offer - the 'chicken-style wings' and a 'chicken-style' burger - were processed and deep-fried fare. We left half of our mains - the burger and a veg curry - behind us. A quality local restaurant with some vegan options would've been a better fit for us.

Pros: Some vegan options. Service was good.

Cons: Expensive, given the quality of what's on offer
