Great location, good food - Edit

We were amazingly surprised finding vegan options in a small village like this. The hike up to the castle though vineyards and forest is not too strenuous and takes about an hour. It is amazing and well worth the spectacular view from the top! The soup was great and even if it was sold to be consumed outside in the castle courtyard it was served in a nice glass bowl and not a single use plastic container which we really liked. The soup was called vegetable soup on their menu with no remark to whether it's vegan or not so we just asked. The staff was really friendly and knowledge about their ingredients and it turned out the vegetable soup was the pumpkin soup from the inside restaurant menu. It was hot and filling and everything we needed on a cold winter day.
