Lots of vegan options. Pretty Heavy” food - Edit
Many vegan options. At least what I got (cacio de pepe) I was expecting a light cheese sauce. it was THICK. I couldn’t even separate my noodles. Way too heavy. Couldn’t finish or eat even half. I’d recommend a red sauce if they have one.

Ordered the Cacio de Pepe for my son last night and he agreed, way too thick. I had the puttanesca which was delicious. Were you charged a €4 service fee?

We were. Although I believe a service fee is standard at many places in Italy

Great place - Edit
The place is very nice and the staff super friendly.
Read moreI had the cheesecake and it tasted delicious. It was very creamy and less of a "New York cheese cake"-texture though.
Pros: Food, Atmosphere , Staff
Cons: A bit pricy, but the food/coffee is great

Big menu & pretty place - Edit
I ate here a few times and loved the selection. The quality was a little hit or miss but the place was lovely.
Read moreTofu scramble breakfast sandwich - simple but good, grateful for tofu
Bean soup - good and hearty the first time, just okay the 2nd. Not many beans and I was trying to get in my protein and fiber
Margherita pizza - good but not like *Italian pizza* good
Carbonara - meh and I think it upset my stomach
Tiramisu - good but they used Oreos instead of ladyfingers so it was good but not “tiramisu”
Cheesecake - this tastes like it was only whipped cream with crunchy stuff
Carrot (or squash?) soup - they gave me this on accident, not my thing
Typical American prices, not like some other restaurants

Delicious! - Edit
I ate here with two friends. The menu was very long, and the options to choose from were a bit overwhelming. We asked our waiter for the best sellers and for suggestions, and he was patient with us. We all loved our pasta dishes. All of the food that we ordered was delicious! I ordered a fresh pressed juice that was yummy, and my friend enjoyed her red wine. My other friend didn't care for the coffee she ordered, and they agreed to switch it out for something else. The restaurant was decorated nicely, and the staff who worked there were nice.

Was overrated and expensive. Food is not bad, just does not live up to the hype.

Lovely interiors and beautiful food - Edit
We really enjoyed the food at Buddy Veggy - our server recommended we try the pasta with truffles and it was absolutely delicious. Also, the interiors are green and have a beautiful vibe that we really liked as well.

I came there for lunch, and I can say I was really pleased to have a good vegan lunch with pasta ! I took spaghetti alla puttanesca and a cheesecake al cioccolato. Everything was really good. They are all kind and the place is very nice. I hope to return there one day !

Wow! I'm absolutely in love with the Buddy Veggy Restaurant Cafè.💚 - Edit
The service is very friendly and absolutely helpful. The restaurant is lovingly decorated with lots of charm. The spaghetti con il tartufo was simply heavenly and the portions were very large. The coffee is, as in most cases in Italy, heavenly good!

Full vegan in Rome! - Edit
The menu is huge. All vegan. I wanted to try their Pinsa Speck Vegan, but it was too early. I went full on American and opted for the American Brunch with pancakes and an Americano. The first bite of the pancakes were heavenly. The vegan bacon was spot on. The eggs were a bit different than the Just Egg I’m used to, but still good. Don’t miss Buddy when you’re in Rome!

We had the american breakfast, a fruit bowl, Pancakes and bruschetta with Avocado. Everything was really good, only the omlette was a bit too neutral in taste.

Best Vegan Restaurant in Rome! - Edit
They have something for every vegan. Savory. Healthy. Sweet. And flavors you just can’t beat. The salads are meals. The pizzas (“pinsas”) are perfect. The restaurant is both casual and beautiful. I could eat here everyday. We eat here everyday from 25 October to 8 November 2023.

Expected more for the price. - Edit
I had the Buddy Bowl which was small for the price and unseasoned, bland and unimaginative. My husband had the scrambled Pinza which tasted better but still expensive for a small pizza.

Amazing food - Edit
This place has a very extensive menu from brunch through dinner. The pizza and pasta was very good - the tuna is AMAZING. The closest we’ve ever had to ‘real tuna’ highly recommend.

This is a relaxed restaurant near the Campo Fiori. I had chickpea and lentil meatballs with salad and a tiramisu; I loved both.

Subpar experience - Edit
We had really high expectations due to the good rating, but the food was a little lacking. Especially the dessert were lackluster - the tiramisu was just whipped cream with crushed cookies and a few berries on top, by far the most boring tiramisu we had in Italy. The mains were well seasoned, we had the tuna salad and the hummus plate. The bruschetta as a starter was toasted sliced bread with scrambled tofu on top. Generally everything tasted okay, but didn’t quite fit what was promised in the menue.

Blown away! Amazing food. - Edit
I loved Buddy! We visited on a quiet-ish day and asked if there was a table free. Ordered a vg carbonara and tofu pizza, hazelnut chocolate pizza & oreo tiramisu for dessert. I also had a peach ice tea which was sweet and tangy. I loved this meal and would gladly visit again if I ever return.

So many vegan choices! - Edit
A cosy place, with so many starters, dishes, deserts, drinks: and everything is vegan!
Read moreNot far from the Colosseo.
We had the pasta carbonara, and the pasta gricia. It was very good, very creamy, with a strong cheesy taste and pieces of what could be smoke beef if you didn't know it's vegan😄And a cappuccino with soy milk (very good).
We'll definitely come back for the brunch.
Pros: Everything is vegan! , Nice textures and tastes. , Convenient location in Roma.
