Surprised

I am surprised they had anything vegan. I had the vegan tuna and was very impressed. Tasted like the real thing. Only thing was that I was a tad expensive for Budapest

great airport option

Fresh and tasty vegan chicken and cheese sandwich.

Located in the Foodcourt after security from Terminal A, not sure if Terminal B leads to the same area.

Good options

Vegan option in airport

Nothing fancy or interesting, but as finding vegan food options in airports that are other than french fries is not the easiest task, I was pleased. The sandwitch with vegan chicken and cheese was tasty, the orange juice was a bit too sweet for me (they do claim though that it is 100% pessed juice) and they gave me a vegan kitkat as a gift.

Pros: Tasty sandwitch, Not french fries, Got a gift

Cons: Quite expensive, Not too many vegan options

Thank you for your comment. We as operators of Upper Crust at Budapest Airport proudly confirm that not only the freshly squeezed orange juice but our sandwiches, salads, cakes and pastry products are also made at the premises by our staff. Our orange juice indeed does not contain any aditionals, it is the sugar content of the orange we use that sweetens the juice.
